Why would the U.S be sending a Hospital Ship to Greenland with no clear reason? There’s no known Disease outbreak. And Greenland thus far hasn’t had any disaster that should be stretching its capacity to care for the sick and injured.
And why would the Governor of Louisiana be involved in supporting a relief mission to the Antarctic? Louisiana isn’t exactly swimming in a host of cold weather or Medical expertise.

Putting a hospital boat there also allows for injured soldiers to be airlifted there. This takes them away from German, or Polish hospitals.
