Calling out the Dems for not standing up for America was actually a class act.
I really liked the part when he bestowed the Medal of Honor to two aviators.
Very impressive night for Donald Trump. Not a single misspoke word during the time I've been watching. A tour de force of oratory excellence, maybe his best. And just to think, they were shitting on this great man all day, accusing him of being in cognitive decline and demented. The rumors of his demise have been greatly exaggerated.

Put Congress on notice. And reminded the Country that their Congressmen will certainly sell them out if they think they can get away with it.
Took shots at major corporate opposition. Took victory laps on policy victories. Doubled down on major populist initiatives. The Federal 401K contributions will undoubtedly win favor especially with lower income people. Likely also a nod to those who felt forgotten by the Trump Accounts policy push.
Once again also renewed his pledge to protect Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. Which will likely be a sticking point for the more libertarian leaning. But is liable to curry favor with the non-Libertarian leaning right, and centrists. Also announced the formation of a fraud task force headed by JD Vance. Making the VP actually do something other than busywork and diplomatic niceties is an interesting departure from norms.
Though when he brought up Iran. I was kinda half expecting him to announce something to the effect of “As I speak. We just yoinked the Ayatollah and his advisors.”
I was hoping he would announce the arrest of traitors in Congress and calling in the military, but also knew we're not quite there yet.
For those of us who know it would have been glorious. But you are right, the masses are not there yet.
Hopefully soon. We are seeing what happens in Mexico when you take out some leadership and leave enough of the organization intact to cause trouble.

The most amazing thing to me about the GOAT is when he gives his speeches, he gives them from the heart. No notes, no monitor, no stammering for something to say. He speaks for 2 hours from the heart. He is not the best orator I ever heard but when he talks, he is speaking from his soul to yours like it is personal. He is truly a unique individual that leads from the front!
