He has been driving the key point. Bringing jobs and manufacturing BACK to America. That is the way to insulate us from AI just replacing people. For example a stock broker, insurance agent or medical data entry specialist could be replaced by free software in one week. We need jobs for these folks to transition into. So he has the ball rolling and he is on the road selling it soon. But the quiet part has to do with a poker face in the middle of WAR.

Absolutely, we will see this for sure. The tools that are becoming available are so powerful, we have not learned how to use them yet. They can liberate an average person to persue dreams they never thought possible, there is an upside.
Today I was in a conference course with a panel discussion about AI in business. The panel was showing +/- 500 people how AI is monitoring everyone everyday doing virtually everything. As this discussion continued the air was being sucked out of the room minute by minute. The attendees were utterly shocked by what is happening. I was utterly SHOCKED THAT MOST ALL THESE PEOPLE WERE CLUELESS!!! A lady at my table said “is my phone recording me while I get ready in the morning?” A guy said “your phone is storing all that data for a reason and the real question is why?”
We are living with people who don’t think. 🤔

I bet you a lot of the same people fear mongering about AI now, were the same ones who sat silently as all this infrastructure was being put into place, not for our benefit but for their benefit. They are only butt hurt that it got out of their hands.
Thanks for the report. The entire U.S. Job market is going to be dumped this year, or I should say, after the Data Center contracts have been signed. This whole deal is going down ultra fast and just like the room millions will be caught off gaurd.
The bright spot is that all this 'change' is now predictable and we can 'reinvent' ourselves to some degree. BUT, we have to understand that America has to make things again and we have to stop buying outside the country and make purchases INSIDE our country to survive this. The vulnerability needs to be turned around and in doing so WE also can use AI to our benefit if we understand how powerful of a tool it can become if we harness it.

You sound like my uncle who predicted that the entire job market was going to be dumped when the Internet became available to all. And he was partly right - mostof the jobs disappeared, but much more jobs showed up.
WIth every epochal technological innovation, humans outsource lower level work to the tech, and focus on higher level activities.
As a software guy, I have learnt this first hand. I dont write code any more. I dream up of software and the AI writes code for it. It doesnt mean I dont have any work. On the contrary, I am working harder than before, I spend all my time thinking at a much higher level while I am waiting for the AI to finish writing the code.
I agree. A new “industrial revolution” is here. Either throw away the draft horse for the tractor or get left behind. The invasion of privacy and security of PEOPLE is going to be the end result. The main presenter of the panel said something profound that struck home “if you use a computer for your job, your job will be gone by end of 2027, computers can do computer work better than any human “. Every presentation agreed that without proper regulations we humans will be dinosaurs soon.
