In terms of the greater plan, it's about neutralizing a cabal terror state and cutting off any attempt by Israel (or anyone else) to make it into a prolonged war.
Why now? Several reasons, but the two most important were: thousands of protesters were being killed and we didn’t want the rebellion to fizzle out. Two: the regime was tunneling into a mountain to prevent conventional bombs from harming their reinvigorated uranium enrichment program to build several bombs. We would have needed a nuke or nukes to take it out.
What they aren't realizing is that by taking out Iranian leadership and helping to ensure they can't remain in power, it eliminates Israel's only real existential enemy, this allowing Trump to do what he needs to do regarding the Israeli Zionist Govt. There's more than rumors that Israel was ready to drop a few nukes on them, so yeah, we needed to do something. After this is done, Israel won't really have any other country to bitch about, os it neutralizes their arguments about "existential threats."
Why is this the first time I'm hearing they have (had) an arsenal of missiles that exceed our combined efforts to stop them?
Is that because our interceptor missiles have been all sent to Ukraine?
