UK pedes will be all too familiar with how the BBC's 'Radio One' pollutes the air 24/7 with ooga-booga rap gibberish, and has been doing so for the best part of two decades, all Globalist-sponsored to subvert the morals of developing young brains.
Yep. No doubt many anons witnessed and remember the controlled "evolution" mainstream music and radio/television play phenomenon of the 90s-00s.
Viewing from the punk/indie perspective, it was glaringly obvious... along with the co-opting of the litany of popular underground sub-genres and cliques circa 2008-current year.
I was there for both. First they rammed propaganda down my ears. Then they took the outlier populist music movements, gutted elements, and turned them all into propagandized trend-pop NPC mind virus fuel. This is when they destroyed individuality created by various music and geek scenes and the product you see today is the stereotypical blue-haired, septum ring, commie NPC.
The beginnings of gamergate were parallel to what I'm describing with the music scene. It all started with creating the NW Coast "hipster" scene, then allowing that to swallow up various aspects of other popular scenes. Essentially neutering those trends effectiveness at fostering free thinking and individuality and creating this amorphous monstrosity we see today.
I’ll go out on a limb here and suggest that rock and roll was also something of a degradation of culture, and that it was also taken over during the “British Invasion”.
It started in 87-88 with NWA. Today its just a bunch of feral animals mumbeling into a mic, holding up guns, talking about weed, calling women hores & n's while driving cars they cant afford. BTW, new music sucks.
Anyone want to read an excellent book on the music industry in L.A. in the 60's? I highly reccomend, "Weird Scenes inside the Canyon". Everything, I mean everything was all manufactured by the CIA.
It has always been controlled IMO. They choose the artists, they choose what the artists do, sing, and what genre is acceptable to mainstream to be pushing. I have always leaned to rock, metal, anthems, uplifting melodies and beats to dance to and still do today though, any song that any one artist of any genre can catch my ear, some songs/beats just hit right while others are meh. Late 90's I peaced out with what the USA was offering and branched out via internet to find hundreds of foreign bands who were playing the music that I actually loved, many of them in the metal and rock genre.
Not only that but in my opinion the true Hip Hop spirit died and got replaced with these crappy hollywood rappers that are in the news now.
Don't get me started on the Globalist Managed Decline of our Cultures. Thegood news is, we can rise up and start a Great New Future.

For a fun time, check out producer and label owner profiles on Wikipedia and track when they changed in rock, pop, grunge, hip hop, etc.

I was never really a fan of the music of the Smashing Pumpkins, but Billy is pretty based I have noticed over the years.
