When I'm chatting with Grok about geopolitical issues and so-called conspiracy theories I instruct him not to use wikipedia, pbs, the New York Times, CNN or any other mainstream sources for his information.
Neither is your standard WebMD. You have to force it to dig and give you alternative natural cures. It will
Always default to “cholesterol is bad and American Heart Association has your best interest at heart. lol.
Worth noting that if someone is awake, it’s possible to get good information from MSNBC and WaPo, and Wikipedia is significantly better than either of those because unlike most media companies, they often include sources.
It’s the NPCs only falling into spin and getting to the omitted info that’s the problem.
I also use Wikipedia as one of my barometers about whether or not I can trust a public figure.* If Wikipedia trashes them anywhere in the article, they're probably okay. If Wikipedia trashes them because I even reach the Early Life header, we could probably be on friendly terms. If Wiki trashes someone in the first three sentences of their article, that person is most likely hanging out on GAW with us. :D
*By trust, I obviously mean I can consider them a possible ally and not someone who wants me jailed for being MAGA.
My previous hobby, i.e. before this one, was Global Warming/Climate Change. Back then, there was someone who monitored the global warming pages of wikipedia constantly and if ever anyone edited an article and added some non-narrative information it was gone within minutes.

You mean the CIA is not a valid source
It is mostly useful for early life checks.
I use commie sources such as Wikipedia for the things they have to admit.
Many years ago, I noticed anyone could edit, I knew then it couldn't be trusted. I never use it to this day.
And some of those people can lock in their opinions somehow
I tried to put something truthful and conservative up and it was taken down immediately
Indeed.
I've known that for at least the last 20 years. I guess I didn't know about the behind the scenes stuff, but I did know they're not a reliable source.
Was it ever?
