Correct. We know they are compromised, so yes, that makes sense.
Does this mean the whole Catholic church is corrupt and lost? Not at all. Is it less than 1%? 10%? 50%? Until the evil is rooted out from the top who can say.
We do know it takes very few people among millions to taint a system. Only a few instances amplified by the news can make something look widespread, or it can hide the evil.
I dont belive the church should be torn down (doing satans work for him), but it does need investigated and the rot removed and the evil purged.
I believe you are correct. I am Catholic and I believe there is corruption in the Catholic church. Of course Satan would work hard to bring down the church. And of course, it's only a percentage.
Just like we Patriots aren't also guilty of the crimes of the deep state players in this country, the majority of Catholics should not be judged and looked down upon for the crimes of fallen members in the church.
My mom walked away. She'll be 85 in Aug. Since my dad passed, thank God before all this crap, she refuses to go to church. Blames finding out about how EVERYONE in the church hierarchy knew about the pedophile priests and still just quietly moved them to New hunting grounds. She and my dad used to be heavily involved in the church. We knew several archbishops personally. They ate dinner at our house. To say she's pissed is putting it mildly.
That is unfortunate, and im sorry to hear about it.
I'm confident there are way more good than bad people, especially in the Catholic church, but it is always the bad few everyone hears about.
Totally not blaming anyone, but there is a blind trust I've seen many people have. Parents are the first line of defense for their children, and you can never have blind faith for anyone except Christ, we are all mortal and fallen short, and i think people see a collar and just forget about common sense. Again, not saying anyone deserves this, or trying to excuse anything. Just saying things like this are typically more complex and multi faceted than just saying stupid stuff like, "all priest men bad!"
I hope her anger is with the offenders as it rightly should be. And not with her faith. I hope she walked away from only her physical church. Not Jesus.
Most of us do not understand what we are dealing with.
Normal human beings care about love, beauty, and creation.
Psychopaths/Sociopaths care about power, control, food and sex. Nothing more. That's because they have a complete lack of empathy. No empathy = no conscience.
This explains why they always take over everything - from your local HOA to leaders of the Catholic church and entire nations - and why they so easily do such horrible things.
But the normals still don't understand this and keep trying to reason with them. That never, ever works because sociopaths only see it as weakness for them to exploit. And they do.
Once you do understand this, it all becomes very, very clear as to what these people actually are and why nothing ever gets better as long as they're in charge of anything.
If a teacher says that 1+1=2 but is later found out to have done evil things. it doesn't take away from the truth.
The Catholic Church is the FULLNESS of the Truth. Jesus Christ himself established it, and there have been 2000 years of popes in succession since Peter.
I grew up Protestant (Presbyterian). After finding my faith again I tried to find a church. So I was church shopping. Problem was the churches I encountered out here in Seattle were either woke or Evangelicals who were Zionists or had the whole rock concert as service thing going.
Then I sat back one day and thought. I never really knew WHY I was Presbyterian other than my parents liked the church and it had good kids programs.
What did Calvin believe? So for two years I spent time researching the denominations and why they believe what they do. I watched tons of Protestant and Catholic debates.
It was a Pints of Aquinas debate about the Eucharist that convinced me. And eventually I decided that Sola Scriptura isn’t biblical or historical, and is logically flawed.
Also the fact that a large part of the Protestant reformation had more to do with politics than religion.
Jesus did not establish the Catholic Church. He never established ANY church. His ministry was where ever he was at. it went with him, and stayed behind in the hearts of those who believed and had faith.
That is the Catholic interpretation, yes. Doesn't make it accurate or correct. Manmade religions have defiled Gods word for centuries, and killed, tortured, raped, and violated millions of people in God's name.
The question is, what is meant by "this rock?" "Peter" means "rock," but Peter was blessed with Faith, which is the key here. The Church of Jesus is built on faith.
If you examine the other two Abrahamic religions, Islam is built on submission and Judaism is built on the Law.
The truth..:like the one where you’re not good enough to talk to god yourself to repent for your sins so you have to talk to a guy in a box to do it for you? Where is that in the bible? The problem with religion is that everyone thinks that theirs is the way, but in reality, God wants us to have a personal relationship with him and one that includes more than once a week.
Guess that depends on how ya interpret a couple of passages from the Old Testament…and I could be wrong here, but I don’t think that confessing to an apostle for your sins is anywhere in the New Testament.
being good/bad catholic isn't the point. the person here is relating truths about how demons attack individuals. part of the attack is a drug like euphoria along with a mental infusion of power and immunity. this spiritual attack happens during worship rituals (to satan) and is why the worshippers kill babies, neighbors, children, anyone the demons request. The worst of the rituals require drinking of the blood (you know about adrenochrome). most people who profess christianity are NOT on team jesus. (matt 7:23- read starting at v 14 -very carefully) most churches are businesses that dont actually get people born again. you need the holy spirit in you to repel demonic attacks of team satan. eph 6:10-18. pay attention to v18.
Isn’t there quite a bit of pedophilia that goes on within the Catholic Church and the Vatican does everything it can to bury it
"The Vatican does everything it can to bury it."

You should read Infiltration by Doctor Taylor Marshall. It’s a good one.
Zionists, Marxists, Freemasons and homosexuals worked for decades to undermine the church.
But yes an institution that is 2000 years old is gonna have some bad actors.

Welcome home my friend. God bless you always

Matthew 16:18 New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition
And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.
That is the Catholic interpretation, yes. Doesn't make it accurate or correct. Manmade religions have defiled Gods word for centuries, and killed, tortured, raped, and violated millions of people in God's name.
The Jesus I know would never support that.

Even if you don’t like Catholics this is so heretical you are out Protestanting the super majority of Protestants lmao.
Why sola scriptura is wrong.

The sacrament of confession is biblical. Jesus gave the apostles the authority to forgive sins. And through apostolic succession it lives on.
Confession keeps you accountable. Protestants hide from accountability.
Guess that depends on how ya interpret a couple of passages from the Old Testament…and I could be wrong here, but I don’t think that confessing to an apostle for your sins is anywhere in the New Testament.
