Some folks are easily persuaded about anything. “You can fool some of the people all of the time” saying comes to mind… Those folks standing behind him is a great example of this, would be interesting to question them on an intellectual level about why they believe him.

I pointed out in another thread how in a photo of Obama with the Bidens and Clintons, he, Bill and Joe all looked completely defeated while the women were smiling warmly at whatever the audience were listening to. That was not three men sad at a funeral. That was three men gravely concerned for their freedoms
Seems to me that most funerals that Democrats attend turned into Democrat, pep rallies, the one that comes to mine. The most was when Minnesota senator Paul Wellstone was killed in a plane crash, his funeral turned into a freaking Democratic national convention. So it doesn’t surprise me.
Has there ever been a president that's injected themselves this much into politics and discussion post presidency? I feel like most presidents are typically quiet while Obama still thinks he's president or something
