On a side note I wonder how much this operation would cost for an average patient, one that is not a lab rat for science.
Misused it's obviously a horrible thing. It doesn't even need to tell you what to think: it could just work correctly 99% of the time, and whenever it matters the bad guys could just override. Like our cars that drive just fine until the rare instances when the BH want to take over and kill someone.

That's pretty amazing. I'm certain that most Chinese citizens aren't aware of it, though.
We have those technologies here, but few readily available, even less in an integrated setting, and definitely supposed in terms of public awareness.
