I hope Jaden sues the team for a zillion bucks. Firing someone for speaking their "Wrongthink" -- especially when it's actually truth -- is unAmerican as Hell.
If he violated team rules then they Bulls are well within their rights to release him. I don't watch pro basketball anymore so I don't know how good he is, but I'm sure he'll land on his feet in some other city, either here or abroad. Besides, I'm sure he has more than enough money now to live quite comfortably for the rest of his life. And I'm sure some companies will still probably through multi-million dollar sponsorship deals at him. He'll be fine.
That's what I was thinking, that he's bound to have amassed enough money to live the rest of his life comfortably, IF he can avoid the excesses that too many pro athletes fall prey to.

Firing for expressing religious beliefs might back fire on them.
God bless him.
End all Corporate owner professional sports.
Hopefully a better opportunity will emerge from this......
I'd hope his teammates would back him by staging a walkout or strike in protest. I'm guessing that's not going to happen.
He's right!
Fuck the Bulls and their whole ass stance. Good for Jaden Ivey for making a stand

He went to Purdue! So did I!
I like Ivey!
Why do people say “released” him, instead of “fired” him? Modern language softening does nothing.
