For those who don't know, this man might be the biggest bad ass in Australian history, receiving the Victoria cross for storming, and taking, multiple Afghani bunkers by himself to aid his squad mates.
He's the living embodiment of a war hero.
But for years, a fucking weasel of a journalist has been trying to smear him for his own gain, writing books about something that there is literally ZERO evidence for.
This could end up being the biggest travesty of justice in Australian history. Especially since the cunt who had him arrested openly stated that the Muslim shooting that happened three fucking months ago wasn't 'motivated' by Islam.
Trump needs to put Albo in the dirt. He's literally the only hope we have.
Australia just can't stop giving me reasons to hate their government. They literally built concentration camps during Covid and inspected all mail for contraband like 6 packs of beer.
Knock, knock.
Who is it?
The Aussie Gestapo Mate! All your property are belong to us!
Australia has become a woke POS where civilians now judge men serviing in very hostile conditions against an enemy who does not wear a uniform, does not abide by any rules of law and uses civilians as cannon fodder?
But here we are. Civilians are in no postion to judge him IMO, fine, you want to charge him by via court martial. Apparnetly the Australian Govt has spent $300m on this and other investigations.
Historically Australia has been a reliable ally of the USA and others but I doubt we will be able to field a defence force much longer as who would take the risk figting, let alone being deployed for these woke POS politicians?
I have not served (my brother did) so be interested in the views here of those who have. I note the USA stands by its troops as we just saw re the downed pilot and am envious. What has happened to the West, its lost its way.
This is a long winded explanation attempting to shed light and context on th situation we are now facing in our society from one who spent years fighting these savages.
These goat fucking, inbred savages would routinely take shots at us, then hide their weapons and claim ignorance, ala the tactics the Viet Cong employed against troops in Vietnam. It's where they got the idea from.
In the early days of OEF, the Taliban and AQ weren't doing that because we were killing them faster than they could get rid of their weapons. It was a target rich environment, much like it was in the first few years of Vietnam. But as time went on and we continued to eliminate their fighting efficiency and effectiveness, it became easier for them to slip away and either hide their weapons, or remove the weapons of their fallen during their retreats back into the mountains and valley wilderness. It's why Big Army decided to set up FOBs, Forward Observation Bases, deep into Taliban/AQ held territories that allowed us to patrol the surrounding villages looking for Taliban/AQ and their sympathizers. The problem was when the ROEs changed after Dubya's re-election and changed again when [Hussein] took over. The requirement changed from eliminate anyone carrying a weapon to needing postive I.D. (PID) of BOTH active muzzle flashes AND the people holding those weapons. At first, if we saw muzzle flashes but didn't have PID on enemy conbatants, we could engage, push forward, and call in air strikes and level the area, if needed, and then go investigate. Almost every time we found evidence of enemy combatants and almost every time it was easy to spot the fuckers because they were very brazenly stupid and careless in their superiority complex. But they quickly learned to use hit and run tactics: take some shots from behind adequate cover and then use that cover to slip away before gunships arrived. Shooting from behind rocks, behind or from inside bldgs, and wahdis became the preferred method. They would stay completely hidden and just take blind shots in our general direction from multiple sides attempting to confuse and stall us I hopefully funnel us into waiting ambushes or IED heavy areas hoping to create as much havoc and confusion as possible in order to slow us down or thin us out enough to want to give up the fight. Demoralization tactics, basically. But it didn't work because we train to ignore our basic instincts and push forward and through to gain the tactical advantage.
As we thinned out their ranks, it became easier and more necessary for them to use small unit tactics. It didn't take long, either. Within months, we had eliminated more than 50% of their effective fighting forces, forcing them to adopt insurgent tactics quicker than they expected and earlier than they hoped for. They'd send out teams of 10-20, or less, but only engage us with half that, keeping others in reserve to watch and study us but also to slip in under cover and confusion to remove the weapons of their fallen, and then slip out before we could advance further. It didn't always work though, and a lot of our units got in the habit of calling in gunships and artillery support (where/when we could get artillery due to terrain limitations) once they were engaged and wouldn't advance further in than when they first received incoming fire. In an open area or an exposed valley with limited cover surrounded by mountains this is a preferred method. In fact, aerial and artillery bombardment before moving in is preferred. But in a village, town, city, or forest, where cover is good for both sides, it prevents bombardment, allows for each side to stop and assess, but allows for them to slip out easier and in a lot of cases, unseen/undetected. They'd take as many weapons with them and disappear into the wilderness, which allowed the Taliban sympathetic village elders to claim innocence. Those asshole elders would claim they were on our side, even if we had PID of active targets in the initial engagement, as long as there weren't any weapons or Intel l ft behind by the combatants. Sometimes, those elders and villagers wouldn't even hide the weapons and instead would claim personal ownership of the weapons. AK-47s, Dragunovs, and other Soviet or even U.S./NATO made weapons were found with clear evidence of recent firings, yet they would still claim ownership of the weapons while also claiming innocence or ignorance of any recent Taliban/AQ forces in the vicinity. To an unseasoned unit commander or team leader, it would muddy the situation further and create even more doubt and confusion, which led to what would later become poor judgements, but that seemed correct at the time.
These tactics were used in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and everywhere else Islamist terror orgs operate, once it became apparent to them that we would honor our laws and iperate within whatever boundaries our upper echelon leadership and politicians placed on us. The other problem is a legal system sympathetic to the "oppressed." Once we became an occupying force, it allowed Taliban/AQ sympathizers to use our civilian and military legal systems against us by claiming innocence or ignorance of any Taliban/AQ forces in the area. They would hide or destroy Intel, weapons, and other evidences during the engagements before we had a chance to investigate. Speed became paramount for us, but now will most likely be used against us because it can be argued that using speed as a tactical advantage also hinders our ability to accurately assess the situation within the moment. We tried to negate that by gathering as much Intel before an op as we could, but you only have so much preparation before oreparation itself becomes a hindrance. They would routinely use kids against us, then hide the weapons and claim war crimes or disavow any Taliban/AQ influence in the area and then demand reparations. Because many of our FOBs and camps had petty cash on hand to use to buy our way into the elders' good graces, and to avoid any unwanted and unneeded investigations by non-combatant judicial officers or unit commanders with no combat experience, our forward deployed units were on standing orders to appease the elders and pay them off, regardless of whether we knew or felt they were lying. The cash was supposed to be used for infrastructure, medicine, and education, but it was never really used for those things. Appealing to one's greed never works the way someone intends, right? Yet our illustrious and inexperienced, upper echelon, "highly educated" leadership in the first few years didn't see it that way. It's hard to provide the evidence our UCMJ and Geneva Code requires when we have unrealistic ROEs in place that allows for enemy combatants to use against us. Especially when our leadership is inexperienced or too principled to understand how the enemy truly thinks ,or is being influenced by outside elements that are ultimately sympathetic to the enemy's cause.
I know of more than a few instances where our men and women died because others in their units failed or refused to engage women and children who were targeting us. I also know of many team leaders, platoon leaders, company commanders, and unit commanders who are/were so principled it clouded their judgement and kept again hem from turning off certain aspects of their psyche which kept them from being effective battlefield leaders. It led to a lot of people being injured o killed on our side. People who were thiught to be good leaders turned out to be weak and cowardly, yet a lot of those same leaders were allowed to stay and even be promoted. Some of them still serve in influential positions today.
Using children as combatants is illegal in every civilized nation AND by the Geneva Convention, and is immoral, unethical, and goes against God. It's also illegal to hide, remove, or destroy evidence from the battlefield once the engagement is finished, but that never stops the enemy or those sympathetic to the enemy from doing it. Even those in our upper echelon who like to fry junior leaders like what happened to SeAL Chief Eddie Gallagher, or the Blackwater 4, and others. But it doesn't go against Allah or Islam, and THAT is one of the major differences between Islam and everyone else and is also a major reason why I KNOW BEYOND DOUBT that it was Lucifer and Satan influencing the creation/propogation of Islam. Anyone attempting to say otherwise is an idiot and sympathizer and needs to be called out when they reveal themselves.
I believe that what's happening to this Aussie, is indicative of liberal culture in our legal and judicial systems. I also believe that he most likely acted in accordance with his military's rules and laws, as well as our UCMJ, and acted within the Geneva Convention and the ROEs at the time. Furthermore, I believe that he made the right decisions at that time that kept himself and his men alive. War is ugly. War is brutal. And war is messy. And most of the time, war is not black and white. It's nothing like the movies. It's easy to armchair quarterback decisions after the fact. And it's even easier to do that years after while using limited facts while also failing or refusing to take into account the testimonies of those who were there in those moments from our side. Of course the enemy will lie and cheat their way into a favorable and sympathetic light. It's most easiest to do that when we have elements of our nations that are actively working against us to bring us down.
As long as we continue to allow these farcical proceedings to continue, and if this goes the way the current Australian legal and judicial systems want, as well as what the Islamists and those sympathetic to their cause in Western Society want to see happen, it will open a can of worms for the U.S. and our allies that won't be easily closed. We'll start seeing more occurrences like this taking place in every country that had active participants alongside us over there. We'll see good men and women thrown under the proverbial bus for doing nothing more than staying alive in a hostile land and ugly war. And it will allow these savages to propgate in our lands even more than they already do. It'll poison our society, our youth, and our governments and militaries until they're nothing like what we know to be right, legal, and morally just. This is part of the wider Islamist goal of conquest through jihad by the use of taqiyyah and should be called as such any time they attempt to use our legal and judicial systems against us.
Australia has a history of this kind of sissyfied behavior. I recommend a very good movie, a true story, called "Breaker Morant." https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080310/
This is happening in the UK as well, 70+ year old soldiers and marines are under investigation for their actions in Northern Ireland 50 years ago.
There was a legal team appointed after the gulf wars to prosecute war crimes committed by Brit soldiers out there, this legal team could not find anything to prosecute anyone after 10 + years of looking and millions of public money given to them.
This legal team were prosecuted and jailed for embezzlement and chicanery, they were on a huge gravy train and must have thought they couldn't be touched.
For a long time in Australia, the left wing has been trying to destroy the Military.

Ben Roberts- Smith is their latest target. They believe if they can use his alleged crimes as an example to discredit all Australian Special Forces, they can then use it as a reason that S/Fs are not required as S/Fs are harmful to the Nation.
The left's plan is when S/Fs are gone then they will eventually disband all the Miliary starting with the Infantry.
So far the left have had some sucess with their plan when they stopped the creation of a Commando Brigade when they won the 2007 Federal Election.
The general public are usually supportive of the Australian Defence Forces, so in true Marxist style the left procedes slowly but steadily.
The left's main problem is in recent years, Australians have slowly been discovering Australian Military history, and embracing the history with pride.
