The Substack article consists almost entirely of 21 screenshots of people commenting on their success using Ivermectin against herpes and shingles. I can't reproduce them here, and I don't know that the details would be helpful, other than these three things:
-
Ivermectin creme and paste used topically is effective, as are pills and tablets taken orally.
-
people report success using Ivermectin with their cats (feline herpes)
-
The efficacy extends to use against shingles
Dr. Makis mentions that Herpes isn't the ONLY virus that Ivermectin works against:
Ivermectin has a broad anti-viral action, so this effect on Herpes Virus is real.

I take an amino acid called "Lysine" to make my cold sores go away. I take one the moment I can feel a breakout about to happen. If I take the Lysine early in the outbreak it never gets a chance to cause blistering and a cold sore. Lysine prevents the Herpes virus from spreading and shuts it down real fast. I used to get cold sores several times a year before I discovered Lysine. I currently have not had an outbreak for at leas a decade now. I highly recommend Lysine. It's also very inexpensive.
Yes, lysine is a good choice for dealing with herpes viruses. The arginine / lysine balance is actually important; it you're taking a lot of arginine, you're more likely to have episodes and to have them longer.
I did not know that. Thank you for educating me about arginine.
I heard it works on scabies too.
Every time I eat something that gives me a stomach infection, I take an Ivermectin and it's gone within hours. These infections, usually from cheap restaurant food, would normally take days to run their course. I've confirmed this many times over the past five years.
Same when I get symptoms of a cold or flu. Ivermectin knocks it out in a day while everyone else who catches the same bug is out for the week.
What's your dosage?
The paywall thing drs. are doing to read their articles- that aren’t even peer reviewed is getting old. This is blog equivalency. My favorite vet did the same thing. He took years of articles that were free and stuck them behind a paywall that is exorbitant. It might have okay except that when I subscribed his entire website was false advertising and it took months to unsubscribe.
I think people should be wary of ivermectin becoming a disease panacea. My horse meds have gone up over 100% in the Covid wake. What used to to $45 is now $87 every 8 wks.
Thank you

It's right there, at the bottom of the post.
Here it is again:

The dude wants an email address to read the article.
He’s not exactly a run of the mill internet hack. Doubt he’ll misuse your addy.
Plus then you have to use the app to read it according to the popup:
I has a Plantirs wart on the bottom of my foot. My doctors gave me a referral to an orthopedic doctor to have it cut out. I never followed up and just lived with it. I still had it a year later and it was getting bigger. I tried the various home remedies and none worked.
I got to thinking about how Ivermectin was basically killing parasites, whether it was viruses or worms and decided to give it a try. I applied is a few times over the course of a week and the thing just went away, it’s completely gone. I used the horse paste version.
