Simply because they are likely to feel few if any qualms about utilizing unethical, immoral, and illegal tactics and practices to get ahead. Essentially making them uniquely suited to the Cut throat World of Industrialized Capitalism.
That’s not to say it’s impossible for someone more well adjusted and moral to make billions. It’s just they’ll have a significantly harder time at it. In part because of the sheer quantity of cut throat psychos and sociopaths already fabulously wealthy.
Preliminary research is indicative that some of the most reliable indicators in the economy of the odds of enjoying wild financial success that makes one a Billionaire. Not to mention increases your odds of climbing the corporate ladder. Is the amount of Sociopathic, Psychopathic, and narcissistic traits one has.
Your normal and well adjusted person. Is considerably less likely to use unethical, immoral, or illegal methods, tactics, and processes to get ahead.
That’s not to say it’s impossible for someone who’s not a sociopath/pyscho/narcissist to climb the ranks. It’s just far harder of a climb.
So we’ve got a system uniquely suited to developing and incentivizing negative traits in prospective societal Elite by rewarding them with money and prestige the more negative traits they show. We subsequently question why an inordinate amount of our Wealthy Elite run the gamut from Narcissists to vicious psychopaths who don’t hesitate to kill, manipulate, and view everyone who isn’t them as cattle.
