For what it's worth, most states consider birth certificates a historical record which is why they can't be changed. I'm not sure why some states treat it like active identification especially because there are almost zero instances where an adult would present a birth certificate for anything

How does the doctor or parent know at birth if the baby is gonna be trans in a few years? All that can be shown at birth is whether the baby has an innie or an outie, but not both. The Supreme Court of Montana made a big mistake based on not understanding science.
