for the last several years, i have noticed more people on the left leaning harder into thought-terminating cliches, usually with a smug, arrogant tone that feels like they are trying to make a flex out of it…
while these thought-terminating cliches have been around for a long time, the people deploying them seem to have gotten a lot more confident and aggressive about it
for example, a few years ago, a person might look at a 10 paragraph article and announce,
“i’m not reading all of that”
as if thats something to be proud of…
but lately, they are saying this for a 10 word sentence!
apparently it seems too overwhelming and exhausting for them to even engage with anything that is longer than a fortune cookie
so, while they seem to have the supply of time and energy and willpower to assert their many claims,
they seem to have run out of time, energy, and willpower to critically examine those claims
ill bet if you send this article to a lib, they will respond with a thought-terminating cliche
“i’m not reading all of that!”
but the thing is, they seem to have made up their minds, and mentally checked out.
they still want to participate in the political process, but they don’t want to hear anything that challenges their beliefs.
so, for those of you who think you will someday wake up the masses, i can tell you that not only will you not be waking anybody up, but that its getting even less likely they will ever wake up
My self proclaimed "smart" niece told me when asked what she doesn't like about President Trump, "there's too many things to mention". Okay Name one. "I'm not playing that game." I don't think she or her mother will ever wake up. I avoid them both whenever possible, it is so mentally draining to appeal to intelligence that just isn't there.
i like to ask if they plan on hating the next republican president too,
and why they feel that their itrational hate of trump is a virtue
I'll give that a try.
That seems to be a favorite among normies, same with "You're just ragebaiting."
I collect “Intelligence Zingers” and memorize them. Perfect post to share with my fellow 🐸:
I admire your consistency most people stop when they realize they're wrong.
You have a special way of speaking that makes people appreciate silence.
Wisdom is chasing you but God blessed you with speed.
Somewhere out there, there is a tree working hard to produce oxygen. I think you should go apologize to it.
I envy people who haven't yet met you.
When it comes to intellectual luggage you are traveling lightly.
I know you are trying your best.. and that’s the depressing part.
I can explain it to you but I can’t understand it for you.
I admire how you speak with such certainty. Truly. Facts would only slow you down.
Working with you is like working by myself, but harder.
What you are saying makes a lot of sense when you don't think about it.
The route to success is behind you.
You did a great job for somebody with your skills.
I'd agree with you but then we would both be wrong.
You possess a rare talent for speaking at length without ever arriving at a point.
You preheat your microwave don’t you?
Well, bless your heart!
I don’t have the time or the crayons to explain it to you.
“Bless your heart” is a true southern favorite. But I think they just don’t want to acknowledge that they are wrong; can’t stand the idea that they even could be. Hate is an easy fallback. Low iq thinking and no curiosity.

These are very good.
KEK, only the best for🐸
TL;DR
Same fren. I need the tl;dr cuz I'm not reading all that.
Also, MEMES! This is why they can be so effective.
There is a big disincentive for a normie to understand geopolitics too deeply.
I think most of them secretly have severe doubts about the MSM narrative and their subconscious at least is screaming at them that the narrative isn't viable.
But, should they read our material, they will have engaged with it with their own verbal consciousness and they can't deny that they know the rationale.
So, if they do read all of a long and informative article and if it does make more sense than the MSM narrative then they have a choice to make:
They either have to ignore it hard or fight it, further increasing their cog-dis discomfort or they have to wake up and snap to the new way of seeing the world and we know how uncomfortable that it. They have normie friends and colleagues and maybe even normie core values and identities, all based on provable lies.
So, when you ask them to read the whole article, you're asking them to experience one or other of these painful situations, deny the obvious truth or accept the obvious truth. Both are bad for your social fitness in the short and medium term.
I do the courtesy of reading but finish with the comment " ya long winded SOB"
kek, that's why you're anon and not a normie.
Don't forget, "Automatic Contrarianism."
There's going to be "Sports Jeapordy " for these mouth breathers.
Amen. So true.
Eh... im not reading all this
“In order to win a man to your way of thinking you must first convince him that you are truly is friend.”
My dad tells me, "Don't send me stuff you find on the internet" -- even if it's a statute or law or just an article somewhere. "I don't want to read anything you found on the internet..."
