Last time I was in SF because there's no way North from the airport but through that city 5 years ago it was abandoned... with retail stores along the main drag boarded up... and very little activity.
Fisherman's Wharf - 100+ years of history DEMOLISHED
TRUTH!!! I live in the East Bay. My sister and her family came to visit about 4 years ago and could not believe how many buildings were boarded up and closed, including Fisherman's Wharf!!!
Yeah such a shame.
Last time I walked the Wharf was 2007...It's kinda surreal for it to be getting the wrecking ball tho...
Yeah before one of y'all offers $1 for it you might want to find out if the thing is actually sitting at negative value.
Some say that’s one reason the twin towers came down.
The creditors now own it, since nobody bought out the debt.
Not quite as bad as if a Florida group took it, but Texas taking it over is still ironic.
The democrats sure build value!
Maybe there are plenty of back taxes too.
Reminds me of the time Bart Simpson bought an industrial building at auction for a buck.
