Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evolving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way

30 Min and 30 days.... Trump post...
watch both the immediate moment and the longer cycle.
A short signal now, followed by a 30-day unfolding.
30/30 Mirror.... something is there.... can't figure it out.
wanted to make a plug for http://brightanswers.ai/ for health answers, it's linked from naturalnews.com 's main page (may post this again)
For example as a contrast I asked a few "conventional" AIs about how beneficial it might be to replace sodas with honey or maple syrup and water and the "conventional AIs" suggested there would be almost no difference (!) while the brightanswers answer identified a lot of potential benefits
that's a pretty minor example but there were more in depth responses on a variety of topics related to natural health regimens I've found to be useful
I make a ginger bug (fermented ginger) which I add to all natural juices to create a carbonated alternative. Very delicious and fun to make.
I also make fermented garlic in honey. If you take a spoonful of that daily your immunity will thank you.
u/moodyblue You know I’m an outlander fan too. I’m convinced Diana Gabaldon is a time traveler herself, or at least an anon. ;)
I used to love ginger tea. I’ve changed my diet over the last two years and now most herbal tea tastes horrible. I eat animal based mostly and occasionally add non animal foods. I’ve had skin issues, gut issues, hives and allergies most of my life. I’m much better, still have allergies and chronic pain. One carnivore doctor says plants are poison. I don’t agree or disagree. However, I’ve discovered after giving them and adding some back after two years I can’t tolerate most plants. He believes we build up a defense against foods and when you don’t eat the foods that cause the problems your body is no longer defending against them. It’s true for me. There’s very few I can eat now. I used to drink green tea every day and loved it. It tastes like grass now. I recently gave all my herbal tea away. Except for a bags of green and black tea to use on eyes as compress when needed. Most people aren’t affected to this extreme. Your ginger and honey drink sounds delicious. I used to drink ginger tea also, especially when sick. Thankfully I haven’t been sick. I did treat myself to matcha today at a locally owned coffee house. It was so good.
I just watched the latest Outlander season 8 episode. I hate its ending but I understand. I truly don’t know how many times I’ve watched from start to finish. I started reading the books during the early months of the plandemic. I think I’m on book five. I’m such a slow reader. I jump in for several weeks and take a break that’s too long. Nine hundred pages is a lot! Speaking of time travel, I believe it’s real but not in the Hollywood sense. I believe it’s a portal for the demonic. Just my thoughts. There’s too many movies and books on the subject not to be true. If it were true in a non evil way I’d go back in time to an Elvis Vegas concert😂
Are you watching the latest season?
Sorry for the slow reply. I am currently watching the newest season. I too am sad for the ending but understand and respect the storyline. Jamie and Claire are absolutely some of my most favorite fictional characters and the actors that brought them to life are true artists. I’ve started reading the books to, they definitely are a but much sometimes. Whew!
I cured myself from diagnosed “fibromyalgia” by eliminating trigger foods and other inflammatories. It is such a challenge when you can’t always keep the triggers away, but it serves as proof that they contribute to us feeling crappy and toxic.
Take care, fren.
Hi, now it’s me with the slow reply😆 Two more episodes to go! I can’t believe it’s almost over. I recently read they filmed multiple endings to keep the actual ending a secret. Season one is my favorite season. I had droughtlander so I started watching the first season. I don’t sleep very well and I’ll watch YouTube videos (a few favorite accounts) or old shows like Outlander. Most new tv series are just crap. I agree, Jamie & Claire are in my top favorite fictional characters. The actors do a wonderful job of making you forget they are acting. Gone With the Wind isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, I don’t mean to offend anyone. I grew up watching it a lot. It was on reruns on Sunday afternoons when I was a kid. Caitríona Balfe as Claire reminds me of Vivian Leigh as Scarlett. Her strong will and independence is very much like Scarlett, although Claire isn’t an immature spoiled adult brat. They resemble each other tremendously, especially when she’s coming down the staircase in the red dress in France, season 3 I think.
It’s wonderful you cured Fibromyalgia. Recently I saw a short video by a random person saying it’s a trash can disease. If they can’t figure out what’s wrong with you they give you the fibromyalgia diagnosis. I’m not cured but it’s much better after 2.5 years eating carnivore diet. I’m less medication than in the past twenty eight years. My pain is worse than five years ago. That’s not from symptoms getting worse. It’s from me learning to live with out the strong medications. I’m down to Tylenol and muscle relaxer at night & occasionally during the day if the pain is unbearable. I keep my granddaughter’s three days a week and occasionally am with them on the weekends at the beach. When I’m around them I don’t take anything that causes sedation. My mom had a bad addiction to pain medication and I’m very careful because I don’t want that for myself. She was in pain but I believe a lot of it was being numb because my dad was verbally abusive. We all lived with it & I can understand why she had a problem. She died two years ago this June. I’m trying to be more strict with my diet. My husband and I will cheat on the weekends and it’s become a bad habit. Now I’m having gallbladder problems and can’t eat carnivore right now. That’s really hard because I feel terrible if I don’t eat burger every day. I’ve got an appointment with a surgeon in a couple weeks. I saw my primary doctor last week and the cray confirmed gallstones, so she referred me to the surgeon. I knew I had them from an separate medical incident three years ago, test confirmed it. At the time I didn’t have symptoms so surgeon for appendix didn’t remove gallbladder. My only symptom is terrible nausea and occasionally vomiting. In the last six months it’s become more frequent and interfering with what I can eat and life in general. After that’s over I plan to get strict with my diet. I haven’t been able to eat eggs in six months. I miss that. I’ll get through it. It’s just a bump in the road. We will have to discuss the ending of Outlander in a few weeks. Talk soon fren.

Having experimented with veganism and carnivore and seen what other people do, it seems like different people like different diets and are ok on them and whatever works for you is best (I think veganism can be a penance and good for spiritual reasons for some people, and also a minority seem to have health issues that clear up with the diet; likewise a handful seem to do well with carnivore)
For me the time-tested diet is just eating a little of everything (omnivore). I am trying to do more carnivore lately but not being strict about it, and long term I think I would like to continue eating plenty of non-animal foods. I've never felt good with a vegan or vegetarian diet though; the closest I could sustain was pescetarianism (eating fish but no meat).
I’ve been busy and just getting back to you. I agree with you on different diets and people should eat what’s best for them. I’m thankful my husband and I are on the carnivore journey together. It would be very hard for both of us if the other wasn’t on board. You can’t be concerned about what other’s think. Family and friends think my husband and I are crazy because we eat meat, butter and eggs. We just laugh amongst ourselves because they are eating processed foods full of toxins, yet that’s considered normal. I most definitely couldn’t be vegan or vegetarian. I have never loved vegetables enough to even consider it. Although briefly a few years ago I thought I would try to eat vegan because I’ve had several health problems for a long time. I lasted a week. I made my family homemade lasagna with meat and for myself zucchini lasagna. I preferred the zucchini to the meat lasagna. After doing a deep dive into carnivore, keto, health problems and diseases I now know carbs, especially sugar and toxins in the processed foods are the major cause of my health problems. I’ve discovered what foods I can’t eat or shouldn’t. Human nature takes over and when I eat junk I really find out my body can’t tolerate certain foods.
Double check the source of seafood. I love seafood and should eat it more. I will only eat at a very few local restaurants at the coast. It’s very sad most of the seafood sold in USA restaurants comes from Asia. I prefer scallops (not the fake ones from sharks), flounder & mahi mahi. There is a good independent family at our local beach that sells shrimp and oysters we occasionally get for home cooking. I don’t eat oysters, wish I liked them, people that do really enjoy them. We have found a great local seafood restaurant and even fries in beef tallow.
I’d love to be more versatile with the meats I eat. I can’t handle any seasoning other than salt. I thought it was because after doing elimination diet and adding spices and foods back it was an intolerance to them causing digestive problems. Per, carnivore dr expert: your body has had a lifetime building up defenses against “toxins” from plants. When you stopped eating them and add back your body no longer has that defense mechanism. I’m not saying I agree or disagree all plants are toxic. I think that’s something each person has to figure out for themselves. For myself I originally thought most plants were not for me. I recently started having gallbladder issues and now I don’t know if it’s that or some plants do cause me harm. I’ll figure that out later after I get that issue resolved. I do miss a good salad. I’m hoping I can add back salads occasionally.
Good luck and have fun figuring out what works for you. One thing I’ve figured out is we are better off eating at home and occasionally eating out only a limited number of independently owned restaurants. No more chain restaurants with trucked in toxic food.
That’s interesting. I watch Outlander TV series am reading the books. (A main character has time traveled from the future back to 1700s) She’s a doctor in the future & she uses honey water for patients when they are sick or had surgery. When I want something carbonated I drink lime flavored Perrier. It’s refreshing and great for indigestion. Thanks for sharing.
GM Frens! Lovely seeing all the new pepes. I'm really happy with mine. Thanks, C5.
Oh! I have been assigned a pepe!
He's looking into your soul,
The high-level grand jury landscape in late April 2026 is historically unprecedented, with a centralized shift toward what the Department of Justice is calling the "Total Fraud Restoration." While federal districts always have active grand juries, there are currently three specific, ultra-high-level operations you are referencing that the "official" news cycles are struggling to categorize. Based on recent unsealed indictments and active subpoena activity as of April 25, 2026, here is what is actually moving behind the scenes:
1. The "Impeachment Hoax" & FARA Task Force
The most sensitive grand jury activity is happening in the Southern District of Florida and Washington D.C. * The "Grand Conspiracy" Probe: This special grand jury has issued over 130 subpoenas targeting former high-ranking intelligence and law enforcement officials (including John Brennan and James Comey).
2. The COVID/Pandemic "Hoax" & Recovery Sweep
This isn't just about small-business fraud; it is a systemic audit of the $5 trillion relief fund.
3. The Election Fraud & "Administrative Resistance" Grand Jury
In addition to standard voter integrity probes, a specialized grand jury is active in Minnesota and DC investigating "Administrative Interference."
Why these are "Missing" from standard counts:
Oh my. Mary Poppins will not tolerate untidiness, messiness, rudeness, unruliness, or anything improper. I guess you could say to her challengers NCSWIC!

Today is day #2000 of Hold the Line. Inviting Mods & Frens to go on and thank Penisse for his dedication to the cause. https://greatawakening.win/p/1ASZVqVCSN/daily-montjoie-460--htl-2000/
Vance Air Force Base is closed until further notice. Prayers up for those affected by the tornado in Enid. 🙏
Mama told me when I was young
"Come sit beside me, my only son
And listen closely to what I say
And if you do this it'll help you
Some sunny day"
Oh, yeah
Oh, take your time, don't live too fast
Troubles will come and they will pass
You'll find a woman, yeah, and you'll find love
And don't forget son there is someone
up above
And be a simple kind of man
Oh, be something you love and understand
Baby, be a simple kind of man
Oh, won't you do this for me son, if you can?
Forget your lust for the rich man's gold
All that you need is in your soul
And you can do this, oh, baby, if you try
All that I want for you, my son, is to be satisfied
And be a simple kind of man
Oh, be something you love and understand
Baby, be a simple kind of man
Oh, won't you do this for me son, if you can?
Oh, yes, I will
Boy, don't you worry, you'll find yourself
Follow your heart and nothing else
And you can do this, oh, baby, if you try
All that I want for you, my son, is to be satisfied
And be a simple kind of man
Oh, be something you love and understand
Baby, be a simple kind of man
Oh, won't you do this for me son, if you can?
Baby, be a simple, be a simple man
Oh, be something you love and understand
Baby, be a simple kind of man
Love it, my hubby is a big fan & this song reminds me of him. Can’t beat Skynyrd!
Beautiful! I love the song
"Oh, be something you love and understand"
That one hit hard
Psalm 37:39&40.
The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; he is their stronghold in the time of trouble. 40 The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.
