If you like stand up comedy check out John Crist. I’ve been following him a few months just because he’s funny. I didn’t know much about him until I watched him on Shawn Ryan. It’s very long, I split it up. I’ve watched several of his stand up shows from the past few years and have not heard him curse at all. It’s so refreshing! I like listening to comedians, get ten minutes in & it’s F bombs. I’m not perfect I slip up sometimes but I just don’t get why people think it’s cool. Also, he’s very awake. He talks about things you would read about here.

Link below: This is five hours. His dad’s a pastor, parents were Mennonite. I wouldn’t have given it my time if I wasn’t familiar about him. It you are interested and don’t have the time YouTube has a transcript on most videos. It’s a great cheat and time saver.

John Crist is a successful comedian with over one billion video views and is the host of his hilarious podcast "Net Positive." Crist is widely known for his viral videos like "Honest Football Coach," "Every Parent at Disney," and "Brands that need to be CANCELLED." Crist's remarkably successful online presence was backed by a relentless touring schedule that initially favored christian audiences and churches rather than the typical theatre circuit. In this episode, Crist recounts his meteoric rise to fame that was ultimately sidelined by the #metoo movement and cancel culture that swept the nation in 2019. Shawn and John share deep conversation that wrestles with topics like faith, hypocrisy, mental health, and personal Shawn Ryan John Crist

Bet they didn’t imagine a character like Kid would be playing it. I’m not being negative, I listen to him & saw him once in concert. Just saying back then a rough around the edges type wouldn’t have to opportunity.

Thanks, I’ll check it out. Big Island Hawaii volcano has been erupting a few weeks. It’s mild compared to past eruptions. I visited once and became obsessed with volcanoes so I keep up. I haven’t seen anything on earth compare for me, not even the beach. It’s so beautiful and so very dangerous.

😁 That’s called selective hearing. I don’t think men can multitask as good as women. That may be why you don’t hear your wife. I’ve bitched so much he says I heard you. But I’m guilty also. I think my not hearing (or don’t remember) is because my short term memory sucks. Yet, I can tell you random memories from as far back as three. By the way, my hearing ain’t what it used to be. I blame loud music in the car & concerts, standing at the stage right in front of speakers. Probably why my ears ring constantly. Good luck🙂

I don’t have these conversations with friends or family (except husband, daughter & sil) because they think I’m crazy to believe (what we know as truth). All we can do is pray for the in our lives that are denial. My dad is boosted to the max. He stopped getting Covid booster, not because of what I said, the pharmacist said she wasn’t getting anymore, so no more for him. Yet he does medical trials (different types of vaccines) his doctor recommends just to get $50.00 for each shot or phone call. He doesn’t need money, he’s worked hard and saved. It’s about getting something for free. Just as example of his mentality, Outback food & service is at all time low yet he goes for a free onion. He’s 81 and we can see the mental decline over the past couple years. Who knows if it’s vaccine or statins, believes the doctor. I’ll ad you and your brother to my prayers.

Natural flavors is a gamble but I’d be more concerned with the amount of sugar. I’m not an expert, not sure if this good or bad. At least it doesn’t have dye! I don’t know if that’s a lot. 10g appears to the apple juice in addition to 3g. Guess it depends on how much a person would eat. No judgement here, been there. I did a quick search, check several sources I didn’t read the entire content. According to several online conversation sites 4 grams of sugar equals 1 teaspoon.

I trust info from him, Laird he’s on top this kind of info. He doesn’t even wear sunscreen.

Agreed, natural flavors can be literally anything. Petroleum is natural but I don’t want it on my skin, related to this. I remember seeing a list once of most of the natural flavors. I’m thinking it was Food Babe.

Apparently yes, have you seen the short videos about “buying up all the Little Debbie’s before RFK jr bans them? My brother would literally go into a depression with out the toxic foods.

I pray for the day sugar and chocolate taste terrible to me. Changed my diet over a year but the weakness rates its ugly heat. Although I can’t eat a hot dog or ketchup because it tastes sweet

We experienced the same thing with bread. I rarely eat bread. Recently I walked down the bread aisle in Walmart and it smelled like toxic chemicals. Forty years ago we loved that smell when we passed by the local Merita bakery. Now it’s so gross. I made toast for my granddaughter with white bread. The old me wants to taste what I used to love. My stomach hurt so bad for hours after eating one piece of butter toast. I can eat tortillas with Mexican food and I’m fine. Dave’s bread used to be good but expensive. It’s been sold so you have to watch ingredients, still better than the white bread. I haven’t eaten Ezekiel’s bread, most health experts say that’s the best if you can’t get homemade. It’s in the freezer section. My daughter cooks sourdough bread, tortillas, pancakes and a lot more. I would like to learn so when I want some I know what’s in it. One problem bread in USA is the way the flour is processed. In Europe they still grind the wheat the old fashioned way. Some people that bake bread a lot get flour from Europe or grind the wheat (can’t remember the term for the part used to make flour).

Thankfully I don’t eat apples or any produce much. You would have to find an older apple tree to get non gmo. Even the seeds are genetically modified now. All the trees, plants and seeds at your local garden center are gmo. I wish I could find the apples my grandparents had, the trees have all died. I saved seeds but wasn’t successful. The apples were so bitter it would give you a stomach ache. They made the best apple pie and stewed apples. I read several years ago India will not buy apples from USA because they are gmo.

Interesting observations! I agree the soil is a major factor. The modern world doesn’t farm like we did for centuries. That’s probably one reason the soil is junk now, plus the toxins used to grow bigger food and spraying the crops has not been beneficial to the soil. Buffalo and cattle can improve the soil tremendously. “They” know this and that’s why they are trying to get rid of grazing animals. Those people that homestead are incredible for making that leap. It’s not for everyone! I grew up in 70s, one grandparent had chickens and hogs, I remember eating fried squirrel & my grandma killing a chicken to cook. The other grandparents farmed tobacco and raised hogs. The old smoke house is still on my property but it’s a storage building now. That set of grandparents & great grandparents at some point stopped farming and worked a full time job. I can certainly understand that, they were not working as hard and making more money. I have fond memories of feeding the chickens and holding new born chicks. I pray I never have to farm or raise animals. out of reach for your average blue collar guy Absolutely! My husband works average of 45-60 hours a week in four days. It’s enough strain on him keeping up maintenance on an 70+ year old house. That doesn’t include cutting the grass on several acres. I haven’t worked in a long time because of medical conditions. Before I used to help keep up the yard and he cut the grass. I keep up the house and keep my granddaughter a few days a week. When you are off work you want to enjoy your family and hobbies.

Look into carnivore diet that cuts out most of the toxic foods. It’s not for everyone and I never thought I’d last two months and I’m fourteen months in. We do get slack sometimes and cheat. You wouldn’t believe how bad you feel after giving up plants then eating them again. There’s many vegetables I can’t eat. Also if I eat certain fruits my mouth burns. Main stream searches generate gov and sites that say it’s the pollen on the produce. I believe it’s the toxins sprayed on them. I was watching a guy from South Africa who is carnivore said he can’t eat avocados because his mouth burns. Said growing up there wasn’t an issue. So much has changed with our food in the past fifty years.

If you have the space for a freezer find local raised meats. We buy 1/4 of a cow about once a year. I want to find chicken & pork locally also. I’ve been buying eggs for a local person that raises chickens.

I’m not trying to push a certain diet! It works for me.

I’ve noticed this also. A few years ago I had bought the little tomatoes in the plastic box. I don’t refrigerate tomatoes because it makes them taste weird. The tomatoes got behind something on the counter for a few weeks. So I left them out as an experiment. After about four months they were not moldy, I tossed them. I have an extra fridge on my back porch, don’t go in it everyday. I had put a jar of marinara that’s supposed to be by a small company. It tastes just like my local Italian restaurant’s sauce. The jar got pushed behind something for several months. When I saw it I tried to open the top to pour it out. Due to arthritic hands couldn’t open, put back for hubby to open. I forgot again, it was in the fridge a year and didn’t mold. I read an article many years ago the person had left an apple on her desk for several weeks and it didn’t go bad. She decided to keep watching it, after several months it was still not rotten. Even if you grow your own food it’s been genetically modified to the point the food isn’t what it was fifty years ago. The old saying, “eat an apple a day keeps the doctor away” isn’t true anymore. Don’t remember the source, they said you would have to eat ten a day to be equivalent to one apple a hundred years ago. That’s because of gmo & depletion of nutrients in the soil.

Everything we use has toxins. Take a look at women’s feminine products, diapers (child & adult), household products, body products, skincare (especially makeup), candles, food, furniture, carpet and the list goes on. There’s good non toxic products available but you probably won’t find them in a local Walmart or grocery store. I’ve been down this rabbit hole over ten years. Beware of “greenwashing companies” their products might not be as bad as the popular ones but they still have toxins or ingredients that irritate the skin or could cause breathing problems. I seek products that are owned by small companies.

Hello frens, so I had planned to go to Greenville NC today to shop & maybe eat. About thirty minutes ago hubby says a plane crashed & memorial drive (busy major street) is shut down. Not concerned about my plans changing! I just got on facebook to search for more info. I know most here don’t like fakebook, I don’t for many reasons, but at least you can find info with out msm propaganda.

So, I searched plane crash & couldn’t believe over the past week there’s been at least four planes crashed.

  • 3/14, PITT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - The FAA says two people were on board a plane that crashed this morning near the Pitt-Greenville Airport this morning. The crash is in the area of N. Memorial Dr and Belvoir Road. Police say all of N. Memorial Drive has been shut down to traffic. The NCDOT says the highway will likely be closed until at least 7 p.m. tonight.

• 3/13, Mesquite Texas a small plane crashed killing one person.

• 3/12, MIRAMAR, Fla. (WFLA) — A small plane has made an emergency landing in a field near a Florida school, according to reports. NBC affiliate WTVJ reported that the crash happened in a field near Coconut Palm Elementary School Wednesday. No injuries have been reported.

• 3/10, Lancaster county PA, plane crashed into a retirement apartment community parking lot.

• 3/13, An American Airlines plane carrying 178 people caught fire on the tarmac after making an emergency landing at Denver International Airport Thursday evening, forcing many passengers to evacuate by climbing out onto a wing and with emergency slides. Airport officials said 12 passengers were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The fire started just before 6 p.m. Mountain Time after the plane, a Boeing 737-800, diverted to the airport due to what appeared to be an engine issue.

That’s just what I found searching “plane crash” this morning on facebook. I don’t watch the news and haven’t had time to get on here daily over the past few weeks. I love to travel and fly, but will take my chances by car. I’ve always heard, flying is safer than driving. Well, that could be questionable at this point.

I found this post by a random person in the “plane crash” search. I know I won't die in an airplane crash! Unless an airplane crashes where I happen to be standing. I like those odds better. I’m 💯 in agreement. I’m not scared of dying and I’m certain where I’m going when I do. Just not trying to leave just yet.

Wow, what’s going on? Pilot era? Vax related? Air traffic controller era? Plane equipment issues? Sabotage?
