Considering the U.S. has control of most of the world's oil supply, old cartels don't work. Now some are looking to form new alliances. The question is what's in it for the U.S.? That has to be the crucial question under the heading of America First.
Indeed. It’s been easy to miss. Given all the other news of late. But the U.S has steadily been either taking direct control of, or indirect defacto control of major shipping lanes as well.
We inked a Defense Agreement with Indonesia a couple days ago. Which in of itself wasn’t anything special.
Basing rights, training, assistance in Military modernization. Promises to conduct exercises with them. Fairly bog standard.
Buried in there though was terms giving the U.S clearance to fly and conduct missions over 100% of Indonesian Airspace without restrictions. Including the Strait of Malacca. Meaning traffic through there is now passing under the Aircraft of the U.S Navy and Airforce. Another checkmate on the Chinese. And really anyone else that mildly inconveniences us.

So who had OPEC collapsing on their bingo card for this year?

I certainly didn't. No doubt the UAE has worked this out with the White House. Globalists losing their grip.
Bring it all down.
This is the thing. The real wins are those we didnt even think about before.
Borrowed from End Wokeness
“UAE leaving OPEC is a very big deal.
OPEC produces 40% of the oil supply in the world. As a cartel, they dictate production. Meaning, oil prices.
UAE is #3 largest in OPEC. And they have Fujairah pipeline which totally bypasses Hormuz.
By exiting OPEC, the UAE breaks the cartel that is keeping oil prices high, unlocking 1 million extra barrels per day.”

Excellent dig, tyvm
Uncontrolled energy / flow of energy = Level playing field
Level playing field automatically gives advantange to US because US has always been the most productive and innovative country.
Simply put, strings being cut = Freedom = MAGA
Cool - lets get other GCC countries to do the same, and rename OPEC to NOPEC.
Y'all saw this, right?
