You can still find homes in WV for $50,000 and under. If anyone wants somewhere to move. But do your research on it first to make sure it's near enough to the stores you need and that there's a job waiting for you. Also consider mudslide risk areas and such things.
Make sure it's not in the Green Bank region! (WiFi isn't allowed, if that's of interest to you.)
After all is said and done, do you think a Maui style land grab will occur in the mineral rich (lithium/quartz) areas of WNC?
Would large corporations like BlackRock benefit from uninhabitable disaster zones that require federal confiscation of land?
