One other thing though is Chinese control of American MEAT production.
Chinese-owned companies control approximately 26% of U.S. pork production.
Brazil-based JBS controls approximately 14% of the U.S. pork production market.
That's 40% of pork production in the U.S. owned by foreign companies.
Brazilian-owned companies currently control significant portions of the U.S. beef processing market. 85% of beef processing in the U.S. is controlled by just 4 companies; JBS, Cargill, Tyson Foods, and National Beef.
JBS S.A., based in Brazil, is the world's largest meatpacker and owns a major share of U.S. beef processing capacity.
National Beef Packing Co., the fourth-largest processor, is approximately 80% owned by Marfrig Global Foods, another Brazilian company.
More than just agricultural land, the U.S. needs to own our food supply.
Also there is the problem with big companies buying up farmland to build big warehouse distribution centers, new neighborhoods, apartment complexes and other non-needed things. It's so sad to see what once was acres and acres of farmland being bought up just to build on to make some big company more rich. It also brings more people to areas that just want to stay quiet and laid back, not turned into some big city that people who have lived in those areas for over 20 yrs don't want. And it's not like everyone can just pick up and move from their homes to be further in the country, because for one it's too expensive and for another in a few years down the road it would be the same thing all over again. And the new homes are more expensive than preowned homes, so it won't help the housing market at all.
And these big companies & the local towns/counties officials (that let these companies come in and do what they want, it's all about the 💰💵) don't bother to widen the small town roads, add more ways to get out of neighborhoods that only have one entrance/exit onto two lane country roads that gets backed up to where you can't get out because the highway gets backed up, then add all those extra people moving to the new homes/apartments on those small 2 lane roads. Not to mention adding new schools for the overflow of kids coming into the areas.
I'd like to see a law that only Citizens can own property. No corporations, no foreigners, no H1Bs, no green card holders. Provisions for a trust to own the land, if all members of the trust are family.
He's not wrong, so let's take back that 45 million acres.
SEE YA' china boyz!!!!!!!! NO MORE LAND FOR YOU and for you're PARASITIC MUSLIME FRIENDS ALSO1!!!!
Congrats.

Why would we allow any foreigners to own American land period? Adversaries and allies alike. Allies should be able to lease it at most
Force foreigners to sell farmland and real estate.
It makes zero sense why we would allow our enemies to own AMERICAN land. It should never have been allowed in the first place.

Awesome, does this mean the land lost to foreigners will be immediately confiscated back?

How about foreigners period?
This is great news but can we reverse the land they already bought now?
I could never understand why we allowed that. Thank God someone finally did something about it. Thank you Congressman Steube!
