I'm looking for some experimental protocols for her at this point. It's cirrhosis (refractory ascites) She's being drained every week at this. She can't even get on a list for a liver until she normalizes and it doesn't appear that's happening anytime soon. She's losing her job any day now because obviously they won't clear her for work.
I'm after something like the cancer protocol I saw earlier.
Thanks
Search Edgar Casey liver cirrhosis protocol. He used daily castor oil packs, diet high with greens, and morning carrot juice with splash of beet juice to reverse his patients cirrhosis. Modern medicine says it can't be reversed but his work with castor oil and diet is pretty fascinating. I've also read milk thistle is good for the liver.
Can anybody reconcile this claim and u/Mr_A ‘s claim? They seem like they’d be conflicting, though it’s certainly also possible that multiple methods are effective.
Edgar Cayce is somewhat controversial because he was known as the sleep prophet. However, there are many books and peer reviewed studies that holistic practitioners have made regarding his castor oil findings for various ailments. Here's a few examples:
The Oil That Heals by William A. McGarey MD The Edgar Cayce Remedies by William A. McGarey Edgar Cayce Natural Cures The Miracle Healing Oil by Sam Sommer Castor Oil: Its Healing Properties by Beth M Ley PHD
Theres the Edgar Cayce Foundation/Association in Virginia Beach, VA which has a spa that practices his methods. Theres plenty of Holistic spas and providers around the Chesapeake, Hampton Roads, and Virginia Beach area that use his practices.
Does the Edgar Cayce method work? I dont know for sure but if I were on the road to a liver transplant and didnt have many other options I'd try it. My grandmother recieved a liver transplant at Mayo Clinic in 1994.
They can't both be done at the same time, but both methods can be effective. Velcek's protocol is based on what he's determined to be an optimal detox regimen, and one that is sustainable indefinitely. But in multiple blog posts he makes clear that medicines and herbs can produce targeted detox, which can be very effective at removing symptoms. Essentially they serve as purgatives: mild toxins that, when used properly, trigger a greater cleansing of the body allowing it to heal itself. He says they can be useful for removal of specific issues but always create a trade-off of other effects.
His SHP (self-healing protocol) is designed to encourage healing without the side effects of medicine, whether pharmaceutical or herbal. Sometimes it's slower, but it's definitely gentler on the body because the herbal medicines will always have some side effects and if the person is already sickly, those side effects can be a big barrier to healing.
I don't recommend doing it unless you generally agree with the theory. It takes discipline, whatever course she takes. But it seems like she's in a difficult situation, and that's when people can become open-minded. And discipline to avoid the need for surgery and a transplant sure beats the enforced discipline of major surgery and immunosuppressants for life, so it's worth trying.
Given the circumstances, I'd give her the options and have her decide. Feel free to ask me about his protocol directly; I've been on it for about 2 years and I've read most all of his weekly blog posts for years.
Thanks for the clarification!
Out of curiousity does it help with type ii diabetes?
Got a suspicion that’s caused by either pancreas issues or liver issues. I know it can be cured, though I’ve heard it can only be cured once.
I'm sure it does. He's got a good blog post specifically about T2 diabetes.
I've never heard the "only curable once" thing. Here's his relevant blog post: https://darkovelcek.wordpress.com/2018/01/16/diabetes-metformin-insulin-the-fake-science-4/
I hope it helps.
Ty much!
Thanks
my liver enzymes started to elevate last year, after decades on statins... so i searched online for some help, and started with one supplement, then switched to a different one that includes milk thistle and a lot of other natural ingredients...my liver enzymes are now back down in normal range, prayers answered...not sure it will help in this situation, but couldn't hurt? (not dispensing medical advice, just sharing personal story) prayers for healing for your friend...
I did the same thing but mine was from a combination of statins and having had high doses of Tylenol for pain due to back surgery. My liver enzyemes went down too, but when I told my doctor I was off statins for good and that I had been using milk thistle to get my liver enzyems down and she said milk thistle would give me health issues over time and to stop taking them.
Is milk thistle always bad or just if there’s too much of it used / for too long?
I truly don’t know other than it could cause an allergic reaction. I didn’t have any issues from taking it and was on it at least for 90 days.
If might be best to get it from a good source. I bought mine from Dr Mercola’s website.
My doctor in general is not happy when I take over the counter supplements.
Thank you
I was able to turn my husband's elevated liver enzymes around with a delicious drink called Dose for liver. He's in normal range
Prayers on the way.
That's all I know...
This fellow claims to have reversed cirrhotic livers many times with his protocol. The intro to his philosophy (old page but still valid) is here: https://darkovelcek.wordpress.com/introduction/
This is the list of his articles resulting from a search for "liver cirrhosis." https://darkovelcek.wordpress.com/?s=Liver+cirrhosis+
The protocol is very simple and he doesn't sell any part of it: no carbs, meat only, with lots of hydration and sea salt. It goes against medical advice and makes a lot of sense to me. He is available for tele-consultations, if your friend is open to the concept. As stated, he says he has helped many people restore their liver to his health.
I didn't have liver problems, but I've been on his protocol for almost 2 years and have found it very beneficial.
Thanks I'll show her
Find a really good naturopath, they are all over the country. So many holistic remedies for everything.
I know someone with cirrhosis.
If your case stems from spike protein, nothing will work before you apply a spike protein detox protocol.
you bring up an interesting point about spike protein detox...people may need detox even if haven't been vaxd, but been around people shedding spike proteins, according to twc.health (that's the site, called The Wellness Company) where Dr Peter McCullough offers his spike protein detox protocol...this same site is good for other info/products like ivmct, etc...not advertising for them, just sharing info, as i have relied on them for lotta info...
🙏❤️
Besides alcohol and statins there are several medications and supplements that can cause liver damage. Certain antibiotics, anti-seizure medications, and cancer treatments are prescription-only examples. But OTC products like Tylenol (acetaminophen), bodybuilding supplements, and green tea extracts can also cause liver injury. The first thing I would do is look at all my medications, supplements, beverages, heavily processed foods, or any thing that you use on your body that may be toxic, read labels and look up side effects of everything. You would be surprised what is in some shampoos and cosmetics.
Go organic and natural as much as possible, stop taking any meds/supplements etc that you research to be harmful to your liver (with Dr notification on rx's). And do take silymarin (milk thistle). I have long adhered to Edgar Cayce remedies, and I use the castor oil packs to help detox (organic castor oil with plain- no soap laundered flannel).
Thanks.
She's kind of a mess, granted. She took the COVID shots, because she's a teacher. She was also on wegovy or something for FAR too long. They're are just a lot of possibilities of what could have caused her to deteriorate so quickly.
But nobody deserves to die like that.
Very sorry to hear. I have seen people in pretty bad shape turn it around. I'll add her to my prayers.
