Tick prevalence has been through the roof here in Golden foothills west of Denver. It’s been warm and very dry (until todays storm). Earliest and heaviest tick season in decades.
We have a friend here in Oklahoma that was bit by one and now cannot eat meat, he breaks out in hives, swelling and gets sick to his stomach.
Ive seen 2 ticks in my yard this week. Never have in 16 years here.
We had them bad at my house back in february.
I rarely get scared. This is terrifying.
Never seen a tick in my area, now they're everywhere.
