I don't know about this Spencer guy - sure, his ads are excellent and his campaign manager has a good career ahead or behind them. However, Spencer has very little said in form of a plan. If you search through his old twitter/x posts you can see he's exactly what I would call a "normy" - zero clue above surface level TV politics. He has some good and some bad posts about Trump but nothing stand-out-ish. "from:spencerpratt since:2015-01-01 until:2020-12-30 trump" in X is a good search - handy format to jot down too :)
I am not from Cali but if my choice was this guy who has his heart in the right place and wants what is best for the people and these two women who have proven records of not giving a shit about LA - I would take him. Whether he backs Trump or not 100% is irrelevant really as long as he is able to work with the right people to get things moving in the right direction

He's got a very personal reason for wanting to fix the crap happening in LA, that, oftentimes can produce the kind of "politician" who can make the most difference in people's everyday lives.

This is the types of person that makes me question the words celebrity and actor. He has like 5 credits on IMDB. And an uncountable number of “self” appearances. So why is everyone wanting to see you if you have no career? What makes you “famous”??
Maybe this is his purpose here. Maybe it wasn't to be an actor. Sometimes we accidentally end up where we should have been all along. If he hadn't had that imdb, no one would know who he was.
This campaign ad is going to lead to claims of "incitement" once ordinary people realize they can do this in real life.

I just pity anyone like him, getting elected and facing the broken machine held together with duct tape that is the public service bureaucracy.
