Stephen Miller dropped the bombshell, "President Trump has ENDED across the entire federal government, all hiring, recruiting, retention, promotion, and training based on race and sex... It's going to be merit based across the whole federal government." ππ₯π

I overheard desperate whispers in the office that "The only ones left standing, will be those with academic credentials!"
They were actually scared of that.
It's super annoying to have someone with only a HS diploma, running for example: HR. They get the job, because the org literally WANT a C@NT (not a D!ck) to run the place. And that's DEI for ya.
Much as HR is a hated department generally, having an idiot in that position is an extremely stupid idea, because, well - nuance.
I mean, there are people (of either sex, get off the grass) with degrees wandering about, who could actually do that job. My point is: at least the nuance is then studied, along structural lines. And there are people who study and write on the subject seriously.
i estimate that an HR manager should at least be able to boast a Master's level (and maybe they can achieve a little at Diploma, or Bachelor's level, but the lower one goes down the ladder, the more education resembles rote regurgitation - perfectly fine for entry level stuff, IMO).
My point is: that one is given some freedom at higher levels to achieve a nuanced viewpoint (compared to the railroaded brain-rot that is taught at HS level), so if one really wants that degree, one is to come up with something original, and one has to at least read something voluntarily and on one's own. People actually learn to think in that journey, academically. Yes, it's training factory workers as Cert level, and yes that's annoying when trying to assess education as a whole subject. Like I said: it's nuanced.
Higher education functions a bit like Q-drops - one is forced to think and research and write, instead of just sitting still in front of an Orwell screen, only absorbing. This is why I think Q was brought in like that. All the little easter eggs, had us playing along like it was a game. There's symbols, numbers, codes. Easy to dismiss if one wants to ignore. Only: it was deadly serious. In effect, Q-followers are getting a complete breakfast in how to research a subject - but I digress.
So let's say, hypothetically, one was to set out picking someone with a qual. in subject at hand, in this hypothetical case: HR. A manager should at least be at Master's level. The system was designed in the 20th C to work, so that any org could have 'a better chance' at actually choosing a credentialled 'HR manager', and solve things like, for example, Talent Retention. It's a hobby horse of a subject (because it intersects all sorts of skills, what did you think it involves - most shrug their shoulders - How do you do that? By being nice? No.), However, rhat hobby horse is topical, especially in these flux-y, chaotic and economically crazy times. I believe that keeping 'the good ones' is the hardest thing for any HR department. (That is: as opposed to frequent hiring and firing cycles).
If an org doesn't do that, they literally face extinction. I mean, it's really simple: If you allow the bullfrog pretending to be HR, to alienate the people who are interested, and can do the job, while they also pleasantly keep customers frothing with compliments - then one has missed the boat, so to speak.
In a depression, which is what is happening globally, people who are actually talented, will find themselves voting with their feet. Crisis = Opportunity.
Hence, organizational extinction, only because of not hanging on to one's talent. And at the same time: filling the HR-position with a DEI-hire because quota or sumthin.
And that came from an ideology, which, I think, the whole world is now deeply suffering from.
It's all so obvious. And DEI is actually a boiling-frog death sentence organizationally. And let me tell you: The frog does not hop out voluntarily.
FORCEPTS ANYONE!!!!!!
OF frogs, and toads, and objects with wheels.
Come to think of it, the C@nt part is nuanced too. They wanted a C@NT of color, and she/zim was supposed to have experience 'managing people' (LOL, what a coinkidink: that's also a skill that prison guards can have - whadayya know).
Ironically many people with a HS diploma are more based than those with college degrees. Universities are woke indoctrination camps.
Possession of credentials means nothing to me in terms of a personβs qualifications. Instead I look at their experience, their body of work, their character, and their inclination to do what is right, especially when that means going against the popular zeitgeist.
I know that is true, If one can read, and write, and think, one should be able to do the job.
It's just that showing up with a HS diploma at an interview, should not land you a job as HR Manager.
However, the system can work if applied, because eventually the leashes in education come off a little. The brainwashing is not really helpful at higher levels, when it comes to evaluation or critical thought. One has to be able to articulate reasons for decisions, not just go by feelings.
By the time someone has a Master's degree in a relevant field, a company should expect the candidate to be able to do those things, and there is just less risk that a bullfrog situation emerges.
But then again, we must also consider that we must call Erika Kirk 'Doctor', if one was to believe her LinkedIn. There is a reason people inflate their credentials, or make them up, or purchase a fancy-looking piece of paper. There is also a reason that the DHS is cracking down on credential fraud.
I disagree that you need a degree to perform in management. Yes I agree DEI is absolute garbage. I'm in manufacturing at 39 years old in upper management making 6 figures.Climbed up the ladder from hard work and being able to learn anything. Now im a jack of all trades and next in line to become our supply chain manager with 150 people under me. A degree is not needed and proves nothing unless it's a specialized field with something like medical, engineering, etc.
What's a degree? Ah yes a certificate that states you passed all the required liberal anti American brainwashing.
"You wasted $150,000 on an education you coulda got for a buck fifty in late charges at the public library."
Dang it. I was wanting to "become" a black female transgender narcissist who can't read plain English nor has a good work ethic and then become the next President of the NAACP. Well, thanks to Trump, there goes my hopes, dreams and desires. Guess I'll have to crawl back into my white suburban neighborhood and continue my retirement from the post office. Thanks, Donald!
MERIT BASED.
Everything in life should be as such. Love em or hate em, professional sports is about the only profession existing that is still merit based.
As is the rise in military ranks, actually.
Good now we can finally get back to the actual problems and put this astroturfed dialectic of low hanging piΓ±atas for globalist Right wing politicians to swing at and appear like they're actually helping us. to bed
Gotta have the West Side Story soundtrack playing in the background for added effect...
Thanks for link.. I love it in the PR accent!
Also, the lyrics. I never realised they were so cheeky.
I performed in West Side Story at school. But they got me to sing in the pit, because the actor they had picked could not sing. How embarrassing.
Me too...Snow boy

Because DEI = incompetent
True. I work with a gubmint contractor. This was signed into action late April. We are now getting order modifications for POs that came thru afterwards requiring that we adhere as a company to Federal Acquisition Regulation 52.222-90 - Addressing DEI Discrimination by Federal Contractors in accordance with Executive Order 14398. This forbids "racially discriminatory" DEI activities. Yes!!
