I have wondered what will happen to Taiwan. Clearly, Taiwan is a wedge created by the City of London to keep China under control, just like Palestine, Pakistan and even Canada.
Once China is no longer weaponised, and becomes a real country working as a sovereign nation and not as an Asset, I guess Taiwan can go back to that country
The CCP's horrible treatment of mainland Chinese citizens and of Hong Kong citizens who were promised "One country, two systems" does not bode well for the citizens of Taiwan under CCP "governance."
I hope the CCP is overthrown or completely reformed, but I don't really think that's likely.

The correct history of Taiwan is slightly different.
Until 1895 - Taiwan belonged to the last Empire of China - the Qing dynasty.
British used their Japan puppets to dismantle this empire, when Japan defeated Ming dynasty in the first Sino-Japanese war, and it gained the island of Taiwan via treaty of Shimonoseki
After 1945, when Japan was defeated, Taiwan went back to Republic of China.
So even at this point Taiwan was pretty much part of China.
In 1949, when Communists won, 1 million mainlanders and the ROC government retreated to Taiwan. Mainland China became communist.
So thats the real origin of current day Taiwan. No matter how you look, they both belong together as long as they are not oppressing each other.

Huh? What exactly are you contending didn't happen? Treaty of Shimonoseki is well documented. Japan's surrender is well documented. Taiwan going back to ROC is in the surrender documents. Communists won in 1949, otherwise we wouldnt be dealing with this China right now. Fleeing of ROC to Taiwan is real because they are situated there.
Others have suggested Taiwan could go to Japan, but I think the PR of China may just collapse and leave Taiwan on its own, a default victor of WW2, but unable to conquer its old territory.
The entire construct of Taiwan was about stealing the chip industry from US. And Trump said its all coming back.
I have heard from a couple Japanese channels that there are some major lawsuits pending against TSMC in US. Who knows, it may all get resolved nicely.
Without chips, Taiwan is not gonna be a piece of meat that China wants to sink its teeth into. Or maybe without chips, Taiwan can't survive on its own and would go back and get unified with China.
One thing I have learnt so far - every problem we see was created to be unsolvable. And Trump solves them by thinking outside the box.
I have a feeling that more is going on in all of these new “data centers” than many think. Sure, AI, but what if they’re onshoring chip manufacturing and such. The US is stupid to be so dependent on one company in Taiwan. Hell, even during COVID, Ford couldn’t complete vehicles because of the lack of semiconductors. Read up on semiconductor manufacturing lead times because they are months if not years. Trump (and the US military) know that this dependency must be dealt with.
Here is my thinking. Chips will be on-shored without a doubt for sure (Trump made that much clear, and its the only big bottleneck that has kept Globalists still optimistic) but when that happens I think the hardware costs are gonna plummet and unleash the next generation of tech. My guess is that we will all be having one or two robotic AI assistants to do all the manual work in the next 10 years.
You can bet they'll collapse! They went whole hog on green energy! Right about now they are realizing they destroyed themselves. Trump probably rubbed Xi's face in it on his recent trip!
