It's deliberate waste. Like in1984 the book, where it is explained that production must be towards using labour and resources without it "raising the general welfare" in the book they build weapons like floating citadels of war, missiles etc, which are then sent out to be mutually destroyed along with the enemy floating citadels. So the people are engaged in work, to create these things, but the outcome is zero, nothing, but it keeps people busy and destroys resources lest they improve life. If you have prosperity then the people expect more from their leaders.
So we pay more for electricity via "green levies" which are used to make windmills which raises the cost of electricity even more, so more tax is taken, and it's used for more windmills.
A Freedom of Information release has exposed an internal UK Government dossier admitting that wind turbines and solar farms — the centerpiece of Ed Miliband's Net Zero agenda — wreck biodiversity, destroy landscapes, mess with water resources, and cause pollution and emissions during construction and operation. Despite these admissions, Energy Secretary Ed Miliband continues ramming through approval after approval for massive green energy projects, overriding local councils and paving over green belt land to hit his 2030 climate targets.
The Miliband family's financial entanglements in Net Zero deals raise serious questions about conflicts of interest. Meanwhile, the countryside gets trashed, food-producing farmland gets covered in panels, and ordinary Brits pay the price in higher energy bills and lost landscapes. Net Zero was never about saving the planet — it's a money laundering operation dressed up as green virtue.
Tomorrow, I'm laying out a plan, that can be used as a beginning strategy. It involves shooting a massive movie about saving Humanity. Every expense on a film production is capitalized. So if you helped feed, house and kept active, all the wayward people during the Transition, you'll be rewarded with a secure plan.
otherwise, consider the following "green energy" facts:
In a historic shift for the global energy landscape, renewable energy sources surpassed coal as the leading source of electricity worldwide in 2025.
China remains the undisputed leader in renewable energy expansion, accounting for over half of global solar and wind capacity growth in 2025. The country installed more than 260 GW of new renewable capacity in 2024 alone, exceeding the rest of the world combined.
As of 2025, renewables accounted for approximately 30–32% of global electricity generation, according to multiple sources including the International Energy Agency (IEA) and Ember.
Global electricity generation reached approximately 30,450 TWh in 2025, according to data from Ember’s Global Electricity Review 2026.
A third of the world's energy is probably not a scam
Utility companies being forced to shut down coal/gas fired plants to replace with green options (wind/solar). Green options can't replace the mega watts the plants were producing so utilities are forced to buy electricity off the open market. All the while continuing to invest in failed green technology because some fucking libtards set a goal of net zero by 2035 or 2050. All of this equals higher rates for consumers because it cost more to buy electricity on the market and resell it on top of changing infrastructure to meet the mandated target. I wish utilities would tell government to pound sand. But when utilities are bound by the government ( regulated vs unregulated) their hands are tied. It's all bat shit crazy if you ask me. But that's what happens when fools with ideals of grandure run a country unchecked until 2024 came along. I hope all this nonsense can be right ended eventually
In 2010 I got bored building homes for the super wealthy and went to trade school for renewable energy I thought I was going to switch careers to wind. It was plainly clear to me that it was not a long term option for a career. A big part of that industry was changing transmission fluid in these massive drivetrains and recycling it. I started thinking about how much oil it was taking to keep these things running realized it was not sustainable from just that aspect. Ever seen one catch on fire? They burn like crazy, that's the trans fluid. My professor once said the modern fluid they used was inadequate for the application and who ever invented a dedicated fluid that worked better was going to be rich. And as for the used oils recycling it at that time was selling it to China they burnt it in open air smelters to melt all our aluminum we put in "recycling bins"
It is Satanic Evil to exercise the power to wilfully obliterate huge swathes of nature. Of course one look at the baleful dark circles around Milliband's eyes doesn't make that any surprise.

Everyone's life gets worse - job done.
Communism 101.
Exactly.

Great post, any link to this report?
There's a daily mail article associated to it in comments I think
The Mail is MSM personified, anything they post can't be trusted. IOW, its fake FOI.
Don’t have and won’t have twitter.
Do western New York next
The People have even more reason to revolt and overthrow the Captured Government.
We need lots of 'stake holders', and not the kind the WEF mean.

Those eye sores need to be banned, removed and land restored. Now , how about those 100+ acre solar farms???
ummm, no I don't think it's quite that
the tax-driven element is a scam
the "green energy" itself isn't
otherwise, consider the following "green energy" facts:
A third of the world's energy is probably not a scam
Building it with tax money? probably a scam
That's because they now need data centers

Where is the document?
This is at least the fourth spectacular claim being made without the goods.
And, do we, even here, eat it up whole sale without asking the basic question?

I'd like to see their real report on the effects of flooding Europe with brown people.
Note that Ed Milbrand is the British Energy Secretary.
