Like the gated community, to kake you feel safe locked in with a guard. They made it about status, and people think it's great.
Worked in security many years, people piggyback in or out. Guards are low pay and benefits. Last FT post I worked at the agency hired criminals, crazies, and drug addics. Can work someone for quite agile before they have to produce it. Just need to take online class first.
So don’t count on the security guards, it’s a marketing gimmick
