I just got laid off last Friday & every application I sent out is more concerned with the color of my skin, if I have a disability & my sexuality prefrence.
Good news! If you're MAGA, you're disabled according to their rules. This includes PTSD from their riots, hearing loss at higher pitches from their reee'ing, vision impairment (low vision) from seeing those horrific abominations on the LGBTQP+ spectrum, to irritable bowel from being force-fed all their DEI shit.

She should have to reapply.
It should be blind/ merit based application. You shouldn't have to reveal race. Then you're picked on qualification. When the interview comes, could they still hire based on race? Sure I suppose.
But the incentive to do so has been cut. They weren't just hiring minorities out of the kindness of their heart. They were essentially being paid to do so.
It's chit like this that makes normal, law abiding white people, turn their head like a thinking dog...
