I would just like to post a reminder to give prayers and thanks for the many Americans who died in our various wars and military engagements over the past 250 years. Take a moment out of this day and have a thought for them.
My family is full of veterans, myself included. None of us in recent decades have lost our lives in war, but somewhere in the misty past there might have been a few who did. But since the Spanish-American war, none of my family have died in wars, although we have been involved in nearly every war.
We have all paid the price in other ways; PTSD, chronic illnesses, ruined bodies, and ways that civilians can never understand.
I pray for those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the country and freedoms we enjoy today.
Amen. Thank you and your family for your service.

My father died in Vietnam. He did not run to Canada or Mexico, his number was drawn in the draft and he went. He was hit in the chest but walked away laughing telling his platoon he has a million dollar ticket home. But he laid waiting his turn for surgery, while other solders who was were worst off jumped ahead of the line. He died of Pneumonia. I was one when he passed, so I don't remember him but my older sister remembers him and it messed her up.
Heartbreaking story. Thank you for sharing it, and I hope your sister has found the blessing of peace.
💔🙏🤍
Thank you and your family for their service.
God Bless you all.
This day is so special. All prayers and forever THANK YOU for your sacrifice and NOW especially to the FAMILIES that continue to be that HONORABLE ones to this day. We salute you and LOVE you all. God Bless all those gone, all those currently serving and God Bless the FAMILIES...
May we honor them by throwing off tyranny and usury, and restoring our God given rights.
YES, YES, YES..THIS EXACTLY...
My ancestors' military records for the U.S. go back to the Revolutionary War. Some served up each generation.
We must remember that not all who were killed in battle weren't the only ones who suffered. One ancestor was a POW in a German prison camp in WW2 (for AOC, it's not eleven).
While he survived, it was a miracle. Many on that death march died, and if they collapsed, they were shot. Then came the prison camp.
Thank you and your family for your service to America.
God bless your Service Banjo! 🙏🤍
And to all that gave their last full measure of devotion...
Thank you.
