"Within you" is a poor translation here. It’s really, "the kingdom of God is among you." It would be wrong to say that the kingdom of God was in the Pharisees. The kingdom of God is in the life of every man who has submitted to the King, or to God as King. But with Jesus, there the kingdom of God was among them. He was a demonstration of a man submitted to the authority of God. (Chuck Smith)
I disagree with you about the Pharasees (and the Samaritans and any other group you might name that include some or many people who are evil) -- even those who ARE evil in their thoughts and behavior were created in the image of God, and even while corrupted they have at their core that image, that likeness -- the kingdom of God, or Heaven, within them.
The fact that people are able to repent and to become emotionally health(er) is an example of this.
Genesis 1:27 -- So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Yeah, but Jesus was talking to the Pharisees when He said this. Jesus also said their father was the devil. You are still taking this scripture out of the context of what was meant by Jesus. He was among them when He said this. The context:
Luk 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Luk 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. The Greek word ([entos you, among you]
he answered them and said, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Luk 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you Luk 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you
Honestly, I don't read that the way you do.
he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation
That tells me that "observing" the scriptures (or anything else) isn't the way to heaven, individually or collectively
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you
Says, very explicitly, that the kingdom of God is within you
Jesus does NOT qualify that in any way; He doesn't say "the kingdom of God is within (a particular group of people but not within others)."
Man was made in God's image as God is male not female but nevertheless we all have access to God through his Spirit as we are Baptized (immersed) in his Spirit by his Will and Grace.
God doesn't have a use for a penis so he must have made minor changes to accommodate reproduction. I think God is beyond gender. He is the beginning and the end and there are no others beside him right?
Ephesians 5:8
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light
Matthew 5:14-16
"You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
John 12:36
While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.' These things Jesus spoke, and departed, and was hidden from them.
Philippians 2:15
that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,
2 Corinthians 4:6
For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5:5
You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.
Psalm 8:4-6
New King James Version
4 What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him?
5 For You have made him a little lower than the angels,
And You have crowned him with glory and honor.
6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet
Matthew 22:30
For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven.
I've always felt that one of the most important verses in the Bible is --
"Within you" is a poor translation here. It’s really, "the kingdom of God is among you." It would be wrong to say that the kingdom of God was in the Pharisees. "within you and among you" is one translation.

"Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.".
Again, Man is made in the likeness of God. I am quite sure God does not have a curvy body and breasts.
1 John 5:7 King James Version 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
The word Adam is directly related to the Hebrew word adamah (אֲדָמָה), which means "ground," "earth," or "soil."
In ancient Hebrew, Adam functions both as a proper name and as a collective noun meaning "mankind" or "humanity."
1 Timothy 2:13-14 King James Version 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression
God's saving Grace. Both man and woman have equal access to God through the immersion in the Holy Spirit not water.
WATER DOES NOT SAVE.

So we're all glowies
From the moment of conception. No one is there to see it, but when a sperm and ovum merge a spark of light is formed. Science is fun.
Well, that explains some things!

yes!^ I always got this impression after seeing President Trump at rallies; he has a glow!🥳
God is spirit and no man hath seen God at any time. The gift of holy spirit we received is the image of God we carry. Not our flesh and blood bodies.
