Iran’s president offers resignation, citing total takeover by IRGC commanders
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has submitted an official letter of resignation to the Office of the Supreme Leader, a source familiar with the matter told Iran International.
Smart way to survive if you think the US is close to winning don’t ya think?
Heard Tom Luongo suggest the reason for the RINOs delaying everything in the senate is they're waiting to see what happens with Iran.
He thinks RINOs are hoping this Iran thing goes sideways, like a bad deal or prolonged war, basically any reason where a chink in the MAGA base armor forms, so the RINOs can take that opportunity to help dems impeachment Trump. He also thinks Trump knows this, so is playing this thing the way he is because of it.
Very interdasting
Iranian civilian gov't was split and devolved out from under the IRGC and Ayatollah to the 31 provinces in August of 2025. There were some articles on this from Aug-Sep of 2025 that have all now been removed from the internet. President may be resigning to avoid being target or to GET OUT of Tehran area, temporarily. There are likely some nasty things underway by the remaining IRGC factions that he does not want to get blamed for. There is some evidence that the Ayatollah died in 2024 and his position was vacant until at least September of 2025.
Regular Iranian army is likely at war with or has subdued the provincial IRGC units in most of the provinces except for the Tehran area. IRGC centralized authority is gone (decapitation strikes), and IRGC and Ayatollah proxies likely now only control Tehran area.
Unlikely. For years, the Artesh (regular Iranian army) has had limited access to their weapons, which are only given to them at times when the IRGC feels they can be trusted with them. At all other times, they're kept in secure bunkers where the Artesh can't get them. It's a system deliberately devised to make sure that the Artesh can never stand up to the IRGC.
Excellent assessment TY
It would be, but it seems the resignation did not happen.

"President Masoud Pezeshkian has not resigned and continues to carry out his duties, IRGC-affiliated Tasnim News Agency reported, citing an informed government source, denying an Iran International report that he had sought to step down."
Ugh. We are only as good as the information we get. The assessment was good the information it was built on wasn’t. They are very good at obscuring information gotta give them that.
Tru dat. And, we have no way of knowing if this is real or not. There is a lot of disinformation and other stuff, all part of the warfare. Contradictory information is all over the place since Iran started.
What we can identify are the narratives being created and spun. They are what tells us what the different players are doing, if we can identify the source of the stories. This can help reveal the maneuvering.
IT's telling that Trump has been dropping contradictions all over the place, deliberately (obviously). Like, the war was won in the first week, the next few weeks, about to wrap up, in negotiations, very close to a deal, etc.
Because he's doing this, the real parties behind the Iranian regime (like the British Banking Cabal, etc) don't know what is happening, and that gives Trump all the advantage.
What I do know is gas ain't getting any cheaper. Even when the war is over big oil ain't gonna lower prices. Everyone is still paying.
