This is just an example of what I've been saying would happen with these police officers in the UK. When the shit hits the fan and accountability comes calling, they would plead "I was just doing what I was told", "I was just doing my job". Feckless Opportunists.
Ghey AF. Their comments to that poor kid point to more than just DEI training. It points to systemic anti-white racism, pro-feminist, anti-male, anti-Christian, anti-West, anti-Britian, pro-crime apologist views being fostered among the über Left. Training can and should be ignored when it violates a human's right to survival, even when that human has been taken into custody by govt authorities. That boy did absolutely nothing wrong, those officers refused to believe him to a point where they refused to even check. The fact that he was bleeding out and they failed to notice goes well beyond any possible DEI trainings they may have received.
"Just doing my job," and/or "this is how I was trained" ARE NOT adequate defenses. I hope the young man's family will eventually receive some sort of righteous justice for this, but sadly, its the UK so I doubt they will.
Bet the UK definition of murder or aiding/abetting/accessory doesn't mention training either, yet it would probably work here and will probably work there.

That’s what the Nazis claimed at Nuremberg.
Blackrock is responsible for pushing this filth through the systems. I'd start a class action lawsuit and seizecontrol of the Company.
Well, that's cold comfort for the family.
It's time to remove all DEI influence from government.
Can't anyone just "do the right thing" anymore? Have we allowed others to break our moral compasses? 🙄
Translated: We were following orders based on ideology .... = Cult of ultimate evil.

What cops always say when they kill someone.

To me, it just means the crime had forethought.
I can only hope that something good can come out of this travesty against human dignity and common sense. The Brits are pissed.
