I can remember back in the 60s, before boom boxes, I would be walking down the main street of my town and see a black guy just stop walking and start dancing with no music. I never knew what was up with that.
In the early 80s kids brought cardboard refrigerator boxes to school to breakdance on... One or two could, "do the windmill"
Not a black kid in sight... Just white kids with skateboards covered in "no fat chicks & no bullshit" stickers, Jam on it playing on a Sanyo radio/cassette single speaker radio with mic near speaker...so you could record songs off the radio - usually in your closet surrounded by pillows because you had to turn it loud enough to record... internal "mic" wasn't a thing yet. L-O-freakin L
I had a cassette recorder in 1972 that could record direct from radio. I used an impedance matching cord I bought at Radio Shack. It was a Sony recorder. It had an internal microphone and an external microphone. I bought it for recording college lectures, but decided it wasn't worth it after just one class. I did record some good concerts on that recorder, such as Sha Na Na, the Drifters, the Earl Scruggs Revue, and the First Moog Quartet with Gershon Kingsley, the writer of "Popcorn."
All I had was a crappy Sanyo... and a Realistic cassette/LP/8-Track combo later... so we could play Stairway to Heaven backwards to see if yanno... the thing
At this point, the mass arrests of conservatives after rigged elections by the dems in 2026 and 2028 is far more likely. But something tells me that the hopium will continue to flow even after that, because, you know, 'People need to be shown' and whatnot

This reminds me of a Dragon Ball Z joke:
How many Dragon Ball Z fighters does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
TUNE IN NEXT WEEK TO FIND OUT!
Cry "havoc!" and unleash the frogs of war
We need more hearings and reports first. Don’t think we’ve had enough of those yet.
