It's already illegal. Its in direct opposition to our constitution.

"republican form of gov't" is representative, not CORPORATE (current with municipal service corporations) nor single CORP uni-party (yes, RNC and DNC are ALSO CORPORATIONS domiciled in D.C.). "corporate form of gov't" is NOT "republican" because corporate leaders are appointed by the corporation owners, NOT elected by "We the People".
Control of MSCs AND the PARTY CORPs by foreigners is defacto INVASION. Republic military is automatically authorized by A4S4 to take action against all CORP states, counties, cities, and CORP political parties to remove them and restore county assemblies without foreigners. Problem is that Federal gov't (CORP since 15OCT1933) currently controlled by Republic military owns all the CORP states, counties, and cities via US Treasury Dept; AND has jurisdiction (DC) over CORP parties. So, do we destroy/replace or just control and slowly shift back to Constitution?
A lot of what communists do is illegal. like election theft.
We can get them on the illegal activity. They normally get to slide on that stuff because the communism is a cabal weapon against a population so it's protected by the cabal.

"Election theft" is not what we think it is. The Repub Party CORP and Demo Party CORP appear to literally be "owners" of every CORP city, county, and state (in partnership with US Treasury CORP). As owners (or partial owners) of these CORPORATIONS they have the right and the authority to APPOINT whomever they wish in whatever way they choose.
As joint owners, they may collude to select whom they wish to appoint. Communist Party rule works exactly the same way. The rules they follow are CORPORATE BYLAWS and they may change them as they wish since 15OCT1933 at the Federal Level (CORP), and since sometime in 1937 at the State Level (all CORP), and since sometime in 1966 at the County Level (all CORP), and since sometime in 1999 (most CORP) at the city/town level.
This is why CORPORATE gov't is NOT republican, and why it cannot be allowed within the states per A4S4 of Constitution.
You cant make any ideology illegal without creating a whole group of people hell bent on that ideology.
The only way is to show people why certain ideologies are evil and where it leads them to.
This is part of Great Awakening, and is why such a deep push of Communism by the Cabal is being forced.

Therefore, all of America, left AND right, should be watching the NYC experiment to see how it works out. The trouble is, the left has seen it play out over and over, from Cambodia and its killing fields, to China and mass starvation and murder, to North Korea and its perpetual darkness, but they keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

It wouldn’t matter. Commies just change their words, like calling it “ socialism” or “progressive ideas” Most of what leftists are pushing is communism, pretending to be other things. It’s all about controlling people.

You can't make an ideology illegal. Any aspect of that ideology that is illegal already has laws in place. So it would be pointless to try to make the entire ideology illegal, anyhow, and only risks pushing more people to it.
When someone is told they can't support something, it just makes people want to support it more due to anti-authoritative stances.
What aspects of communism are you concerned about needing to be made illegal that don't already have laws in place that will address them?
While the technically outlaws the Communist Party USA and criminalizes membership, it has never been enforced and is widely considered a "dead letter" due to constitutional protections. Although unenforced, the statute remains on the books and has not been formally repealed.
Practical legal consequences of communist affiliation still exist in specific areas:
