I listen to him every night to get to sleep. He makes me feel everything is going to be all right. I hate the loud commercial he has early on in thepodcast.
It is weird, I can turn on Dave when I lay down to go to sleep and I will be asleep in 2 minutes. Not sure how it works but it works every time.
Yes, he has a very soothing tone and is very reassuring with his facts. By the time he gets to, "patriots are in control," I am so relaxed & sleepy. Sometimes I fall asleep in the first two minutes too, because his voice subconsciously helps me to recall that I trust in the plan and that I trust in God's plan, and it is safe for me to sleep.
That's pretty cool.
Funny, I listen to Mike Mazzalongo do Bible study classes on BibleTalkTV.com for the very same reason.
If you signup for Dave’s website (cheap but not free) there are zero commercials. I listen daily to both reports also when going to bed.
I’ve been listening to Dave since his first broadcasts and also tried to listen at night but had trouble staying awake with his soothing voice. A few years ago I switched to listening in the shower in the morning. Those darn ads, though. My rug gets wet from me reaching out of the shower to hit skip. But Dave is the best.
Overall still my favorite a die-hard fan
