Chili’s 🌶️ gonna get BudLighted. We are ALL better off when that’s done! (Hope independents can snag those facilities to serve their communities cross-country!)
if you really look at it closely, people seldom use anyones pronouns when directly addressing someone. people usually use pronouns when that person isn’t right there. so essentially “they” are trying to micromanage and Police the way people talk about them when they’re not around. its rather presumptuous to assume that anyone has any interest in talking about you when you’re not around anyway.
Even if he files a $2 Million lawsuit... Chili's will pay that amount as a 'nuisance fee' to get him to go away and avoid the bad publicity. Chili's would probably lose in court regardless... and a trial will cost them at least that much in legal fees.
Bottom line: The guy was fired from a low-paying job... and Chili's will end up paying him big $$$ that may finance him for life.
The timing of this is weird. Under Louisiana Act # 579, you are NOT forced to use pronouns inconsistent with a person's biological sex in Louisiana workplaces. Gov. Jeff Landry signed the law effective August 1, 2026. It prohibits employers from disciplining employees who refuse to use preferred pronouns or names that differ from those on an individual's original birth certificate.
This is July 14, 2026... 2-weeks before the law goes into effect. However, Chili's is well aware that the law was going into effect within a few weeks... and so they fired him early. They were aware... so this is intentional.
LOL I didnt notice that, and they clearly didnt either 🤦
This dude is gonna win the fuck out of his lawsuit! Its so hard not to call a female "she" that they did it in the letter terminating him for doing it. You cant make this shit up
I hope he wins a nice big settlement.
I sure hope so. Chilis need to go.

Why would you use 3rd person pronouns to speak directly to someone:
Point at you, "Hey they, please do tasks 1 and 2."

Demons have a preferred pronoun.
Of course it doesn't make damn sense.
There is still Chilis restaurants around. That place is disgusting. I was almost sure they were using that fake meat for fajitas.
Most of the food is microwaved.
Oh yeah. I have them here too.
These people (they, them) are mentally ill and I would refuse to work with them because of that fact!
I call them by names
Chili's was stupid to fire him.

Thanks for the info. Chili's is not a good chain restaurant. Need to be Budlight.
"She was physically unable to continue her shift". That is one squishy, I am my feelings, lib. That HE needs to grow a pair and be a man.
