The state laws in Idaho don't DO anything. They just pause the irreversible harm until the kids reach adulthood (when most realize they aren't trans).

Oh, and he WAS getting his 'treatments' from another state- so how could that be the issue?

For 240 of the past 250 years, there were anti-trans laws and teachers and the media didn't promote "trans" in our schools or in public. I don't remember a single person "dying" of it.
In fact, when I went through grade school and high school... trans wasn't a thing. Nobody was trans. Imagine that.
Unfortunately, many of these so called trans kids ultimately discover when they are older that they were never really trans. They were actually gay. Autism often is also part of the equation. But this discovery of not being trans comes after they have transitioned and permanently screwed up their bodies, as well as putting some distance between themselves and the people that pushed them into such a life altering decision - often their own parents.
This young man was obviously deeply disturbed and needed psychiatric help. However, the majority, should not have to submit/conform for a minority group. Men should not have to submit to women wanting to become men, by sharing bathrooms and locker rooms and vice versa. Or submit to male athletes competing in female sports. Too many children are confused and making a decision they regret if they are under age 18. Sometimes it is unhinged parents making the decision for them which the child later regrets.

Sadly, this happens a lot. The suicide rate has been proven to increase post surgical and chemical transition. There is no going back.
