I know he has a lot on his plate, along with Pete but this is a nobrainer. Should have been done January 21, 2016. But I am grateful it has finally happened. Now do the same with Yale, Princeton, and the rest of the blue blood woke havens.
Here's a little factoid I read about a year ago or so:
14% of the student body population at Harvard is black
However, if the blacks were required to qualify for admission by the same (i.e. non-DEI) standards of Whites and asians, then LESS THAN 1% of the Harvard student body population would be black
Let that sink in.
A Harvard degree from a black person does not mean the same thing as it does for anyone else.
DEI wokeism allows not only unqualified student prospects to get admitted, but also allows those admitted students to skate through with grades based partly on DEI wokism standards.
Our fighting forces MUST be all-in-America 100%. To be otherwise is weakness and not up to the duty and not necessarily trustworthy.
My father is my example. His Airborne unit was the same as that in the movie "We Were Soldiers." He had the patch to prove it. It was his desire to join that "new" unit called Special Forces. Sadly (or not, who's to say), he had a lung collapse from a 25-mile run with full gear, and half of the lung was removed, rendering him no longer to serve. But he WOULD have, no hesitation.
THAT is what we need in our military.
ADD -- when our fighting forces go in with the "All In" stance, WE Americans need to support them with the same verve.
