THIS was a wise woman - beyond most mindsets, men/women.
AND I'm seeing, these days, more and more of her wisdom coming into clarity.
But then, she came from that world. We're just being introduced to it, drip/drip/drip. Now the puddles have formed. We need irrigation before there's a flood.

I was reading Dr. Seuss books when I was 4 years old, skipped kindergarten, and entered 1st grade at 5.
I once taught in a private school. The ONLY ones who struggled were kids with dyslexia, which I'd not been taught. Learning about dyslexia, I studied, quit, and became a Dyslexia Tutor.
BUT..... Ivy League? From what I've seen, heard, and read too many" graduates" from public high schools now struggle with reading, writing, and basic math as they enter college.
UNHEARD OF in my days of childhood AND teaching.
Is this just not another symptom of our "I don't give a shit about education culture? Just don't hurt their feelings?"

I really don't care whether it is daylight savings or standard time. Just "pick one" and STICK WITH IT.
As a mother, I can attest to how that time change affects children - the adjustment is brutal, especially at bedtime.
JMO, there is no punishment harsh enough for these "parents." They need to suffer as much - no, more so - than what that little girl suffered (God only knows what her life was like!). But, please, don't pollute our waters with their "remains."

Where we live in Virginia, we have to show a photo ID to vote, and we have to recite our address to the attendant, who verifies it all on the voter rolls via computer.
Funny thing - we don't consider it an "inconvenience" or a judgement. It's common sense.
