Ex. an issue with the FE model is the rotation of stars below the equator is opposite the rotation above the equator.
Try this. Spin a snow globe at a constant speed. Do you have a turn table? At some point the snow will settle (equilibrium , zero wind). At that point look down into the globe from the top. The snow near the center (analogous to north pole) will be hardly moving at all. While the snow at the sides (anagous to the equator) will be spinning quite fast. Even though the snow is not moving relative to the snow globe, from outside that inertial reference point you can tell is is moving quite fast.
I watched it. Their issue is that they assume that the gyroscope shows your relative orientation to a flat plane surface. It doesnt, it shows your relative position to the center of the earth. It would look like climbing if they kept a true straight heading. So their compensation that they think you would have to do is actually just the angle you would need to be the same elevation constantly.

What would be the problem with a zero wind day?
Since wind is not generated by spin, (do we both agree?) the real cause of wind would have to stop also. So no sun, no ocean currents, no heat transfer of any kind.
So then theyd say that nothing is predictable?

Wind isnt generated by spin of the earth. Where Im at, the wind generally travels west to east which means it travels in the same direction (northern hemisphere) and FASTER than the earth spin. If spin generated wind, it could not spin it faster than it itself moves.
And def not 10,000 mph at the equator.

Do you find it interesting that you can predict the rise and set of the sun and moon? Or that you can predict a solar or lunar eclipse?
If things seemed at random, i would think somethings weird. That would cause me to question globe theory. If anyone had developed a model for the flat earth that could explain seasons and eclipses and star rotation below the equator, Id love to hear it.
