A lot of this reminds me of the "Bible Code" stuff from the nineties where everyone pretty much ignored Thou Shall Not Steal, and He that hath not the Son hath not God and stuff like that and went looking for future events in a convoluted and arbitrary method of searching Hebrew scriptures for words hidden every so many letters apart. As far apart as necessary to find what you are looking for mind you, and the number of spaces between letters could be changed as needed until you find your secret code.
