Right. However he was dealing with the Jews...I mean by extending grace to Gentiles he kind of flipped the whole script. Like the ministering to the Ethiopian eunuch by Iirc Paul. A eunuch was expressly forbidden under OT law from entering the temple. And here Paul comes along and teaches the guy how to understand the words of Christ.
IMHO that's how I want to be seen if a gay person reads my posts. Not judging them but offering help with their own salvation if they are serious and want to understand. I will do my best
True. Again this is OT vs NT. one could argue with the advances in dietary knowledge the eating restrictions are no longer valid.
There is also the dream where John sees all kinds of bugs etc and Jesus appears and tells him it is not what a man puts in his mouth that makes him unclean but what comes out of his heart, which is only in some Bibles but which tends with that interpretation to say that the old commandments on food are no longer needed.
I'm just making educated guesses here no better or worse than anybody else's. And it would seem to me like Jesus commandment to "love thy neighbor" would mean I would not approve of homosexuality but I wouldn't judge either.
Everyone has their own cross to bear and has to do what they have to to minimize sin. My cross might be porn or alcohol or whatever and it's no easier or harder for me than for a gay guy not to sleep with dudes. Work out our own salvation as it were
Right? Like all of the things God prohibited with commandments etc were actually REALLY GOOD PROHIBITIONS bc of what harm can be done by breaking them. Adultery, stealing, etc. However I think the levites took it too far with the sideburns thing but even the verses seemingly against tattooing make sense when you understand tribal nature of back then and trying to not follow in those footsteps
I'll take "Anal bum cover" for $500, Trebek.
Me as well. However the OP has KIND OF picked an apples to oranges here. Leviticus is OT Hebrew law, and Matthew is NT.
I just read some of Matthew to my son tonight for bedtime story, and as we read about Jesus coming not to get rid of the law but fulfil it,I got the distinct impression that he was mainly talking about the commandments, not ALL of the Levites restrictions.
At least I hope I am right or I'm going to hell for trimming my sideburns among other things. Point being in my understanding the OT law was for the Jews and the NT and inclusion of gentiles changed some things.
Yes, and interestingly these dietary restrictions when explored make a hell of a lot of sense for a preliterate nomadic people who lacked the techniques or knowledge to safely prepare them. Things like not eating pork when you realize trichinosis would have been an issue etc.
Not even with 4:1 odds? Imagine the possibilities of having 4 additional testicles?
Thanks will read
Seems fake. In one the author says "RT for a follow back from a God fearing Trump loving American who doesn't shower with his daughter."
That's what I'm wondering? Maybe some DE pedes can chime in. I am DE-adjacent but just don't trust those fuckers in DE...you never hear anything out of DE, it just sits there next door being all sneaky with beaches and no sales tax.
When was this?
Actually female chickens can develop roosterlike behaviors in an all female flock. It's a feature not a bug. I forget the full reasoning behind it but eventually one will develop into the "rooster" in all female flocks
bEcAuSe PaNdEmIc!

More bullshit, probably.
We all do to some extent I think. Need any help I would be happy to assist.
Yes US born I think. I forget the specific honorific she has In that regard
It's the universal Masonic distress signal phrase. They say Masons do really well and go far in the 3 letter orgs.
He came to fulfill the prophecies to the Jews as their Messiah and that "stiff necked people" STILL wouldn't believe him so God extended his forgiveness to the gentiles as well as he did numerous times in the OT.
I studied a lot of the Jewish stuff as well but IMHO just because Jesus celebrated passover or whatever DOESNT MEAN I have to as a follower of Christ. He was doing specific things that should have verified what scripture and the prophets said and the Pharisees et al were so self righteous in their rules-lawyering for power and prestige that they had him killed
