Anyways, I'm going to address the Rabbis/baby boys thing, Thousands of years ago, Jewish mohels had noticed two things: saliva and wine were both mildly antiseptic and drawing the blood out of the wound from circumcision helped it heal cleaner and faster. Obviously there weren’t a lot of good tools for creating suction in 1000 BCE, so in the interest of preventing infection and helping the surgery heal cleanly mohels would fill their mouth with wine and use their mouth to suck out excess blood from the surgery wound (and spit it out). As medicine advanced, of course, so did circumcision techniques. There exist a teeny tiny number of modern Jews who feel like since this is a very old way of performing circumcision that it is inherently the best way. Basically everyone else disagrees and 99.9% of modern mohels are doctors and use modern medicine and modern tools. There is no commandment that I know of to perform mitzitzeh b’peh specifically and drinking blood in general and human flesh in specific is completely forbidden, so the whole “drink baby blood” thing is just outright blood libel antisemitism.

Wow, that reminded me of Israel being hit by Iranian missiles last night. Well, it would have been their morning. I watched it on Agenda Free. Several cities (all civilian areas) were hit including a direct hit on a hospital. It was terrible.

Personally I hate war. I saw my brother and friends brothers come home from Vietnam as seriously fucked up people - that aside - I will always support Israel no matter how much the world turns against them with their hatred. Sometimes given no other option you have to fight.. I voted 3 times for Trump, plan or no plan. I don't regret it. Sorry if this is rambling. I'm sitting here drinking my coffee and waking up. It's so strange, though - by saying I support Israel I feel like I did years ago supporting Trump when everyone hated him.

God has made promises to protect Israel, both as a people and as a nation. The Lord will intervene to protect Israel from harm. So, I am not really worried about Iran's retaliation against Israel. I'll probably get insulted for saying this but in the end the world will despise Israel so being insulted here does not worry me at all.

edit: I mean, what I actually hear is not what is being said at all. It makes communicating difficult with family & friends & strangers. I have found myself in really strange conversations many times, lol.
