- Extraterrestrials exist and some are preditory. Some Elohim "gods" (mistranslated as "God" in the Bible) came to Earth, fucked about with our genes and enslaved us. Whether they are still hanging around to influence us is currently unknown but, if they are, that would put a lot of people in the asylum.
If you wish to argue the point, just check out "Elohim" in any Hebrew dictionary. It's a plural word.
Also just imagine that you've believed in the God of the Bible all your life and you suddenly discover that you're an Elohim worshipper. That would be pretty darn shocking.
