I hear you, I’m in Massachusetts and it’s pretty bad here overall with regards to friends and family who felt like they had no choice but to take it. I really felt like it was a 50% of people kind of thing, which is still an amazingly large number. I just kept saying to my family and friends that this was all being rushed with too much coercive pressure from all angles, too much for me to feel comfortable. I’m a scientist and for everyone to in unison be saying to trust the science just made me sick to hear, so I’d rather take the wait and see approach/be a part of the control group
I like your response a lot, ‘why is our existence not a paradise?’ essentially, right? Limits exist as humanity has discovered in math, y=1/x as x approaches infinity, y approaches 0, but never reaches there, as that function is still 1 fraction of whatever x is.
Limits may exist for God too, operating by limits that God put in place to achieve balance in the universe. There are divine reasons we are probably never meant to understand or be able to comprehend, and I’m personally fine with that. It’s fun to think about philosophically, but not something I believe I or anyone else on this earth will ever know.
Just clarifying since I haven’t been keeping track myself - you’re saying there are a number of republican politicians in addition to this list that since April 5th have publicly “caught covid” and tweeted about it, also saying they’re “grateful” that they chose to get the shots?
I love how you keep saying “we” and “most people here”
I don’t agree with you, it sure seems like most people on this thread don’t agree with you, and the top comment blew you the fuck out with knowledge of a subject you have no clue about
Beautiful post here friend, I enjoyed reading how your brain works. I got into gardening maybe 5 years ago and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. Fermenting and/or canning my produce in particular for long term storage has made me feel so comfy. Have not made the move to get chickens, though it is in future plans
I mean holy shit, it’s a tough one for some people for sure and I understand why. Bless the little girl for keeping her baby
