Congratulations for your rich brother. He may have bought a car but doesn’t mean he owns it. I see the Tesla car as a plastic computer on wheels. Nothing revolutionary about it. For me it’s a downgrade in the technology of cars.
- The battery capacity comes nowhere in efficiency of that compared to a gasoline fuel tank.
- The batteries takes huge amount of time to charge before you can drive it.
- In the future when wrong think happens your car can remotely be taken away from you But eventually other car brands will be the same.
In the year 70’s and 80’s some Arab countries like Iran already had water powered fuel cell cars ( hydrogen cars) But since water is so cheap the oil industry would have died since people would also be able to power their houses on water/hydrogen.
The war after 911 prevented the knowledge and growth of our technologies. Because many of those Arab countries got destroyed in the name of “WMD”. So right now we are only recycling the technology we already have, exactly what Elon Musk has done. There is no real new invention in there. Just made something that already existed better.
