No what I am trying to describe is similar to this. Originally I thought of counter weights on either side of the wheel ( weight Ed opposed on each side) and a generator on the same shaft. I remember hearing about this years ago when the Segway was announced. It was on some late night radio show, coast to coast I think. I was working graveyards so it wasn't necessarily just a late night show, Any way The way it was described was counter weights. What I had pictured then was one set of counter weights on circular bearing belted, chained, or on the same shaft to another set weighted just the opposite. If you spin it one time it should STAY SPINNING. Recently there are YouTube videos doing the same thing with an electric motor.
When you spin an electric motor you can feel the magnets repel and attract as it goes around. Now connect another one wired the opposite so the magnets work like the counter weights I described above. Spin it and it should stay spinning......
