A PCAP is an acronym for "packet capture". It's what computers and electronic systems send to eachother over the internet to communicate.
Our convo here for instance, all contain packets of info sent from our respective device to this board to be interpreted as what you are currently reading.
Thus, an outside entity monitoring can "pcap" this exact convo, for example.
