Fellow Tennessean here. My son came home from school today and said they had to take a long COVID survey asking if they’d be vaxxed and if not why. He’s 13. He’s also told me about kids not being allowed to wear Trump masks but somehow, Biden has made it on to many of the schools yearbook pages !! Sickening that I have to deprogram my son when he comes home from school. And that they’re wasting educational time doing marketing research for free on our children so they better know how to pressure them into getting sterilized next year.

Unfortunately, I live in Shelby county and I’m sure our health department will come with some excuse to deny his request. Shelby county is one of the few Democrat run counties in the state. Their school system failed so miserably it had to give up its special charter in 2013. Since then it has combine with and ruined the district that was forced to absorb it because the Democrat judge decided the failing charter district would be in charge of the merger. What kind of sense does that make? You’re failing so bad, we will put you in charge of an even larger system.

I’m glad this is happening. As a teacher I get triggered every time we have to sit through a ‘facing history’ or anti-racism training. My blood boils. These constant micro-aggressions have me running for a safe space ?

Weird I have Hashimotos and my husband and son say I’m like a blood hound. Maybe, but that doesn’t mean they don’t stink! It’s just hard to believe I didn’t notice that smell not being there.

I take armour thyroid because it works better addressing my symptoms than synthroid. And I didn’t even notice the aweful smell was gone until now!! I have had a lot going on and have ADD also so I’m not usual paying attention to things that don’t interest me. But that smell, it was hard not to notice when you took the lid off, especially since I take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

It’s sad. I would never let my son attend the school I teach at. And it’s not because of the teachers, more BOE and cultural demographic.

I suspected something like this would happen and specifically told my son to never accept anything the school offered. I wouldn’t even let him get the free tooth sealant they pushed in elementary school. The schools are a major open door for the DS to implement all their nefarious plans. I am a teacher.

It may not be much but writing a letter, sending some emails to Pembroke Academy in New Hampshire. I work in a school and the leadership is in power due to their ability to follow orders. Not because they’re free thinkers.

I think you make an excellent point and am reminded of how we must become less so that He can become more. Often our view of Gods plan is obstructed by our own plans. Common trap of living in this flesh is that the world and our thoughts seem more imminent than our Lord.
